I wanted the ‘Christmas tree’ smell but it wasn’t really there. It was still a pleasant floral-centric over woodsy aroma, and the glass jar itself is beautiful. I will add that my candle usage lately has been via candle warmers and not burning them, but I doubt that was a factor in the aroma. Granted, I’m not buying the $30+ candles so those may be more along the lines of what I’m looking for. My bargain balsam candle search continues. Again, the glass jar was well worth the purchase - it’s a lovely deep emerald/olive green, cut-glass jar (3.5” tall 3.25” diam.) with a loose-fitting lid.
