Nice fit for my big (25 in.) head. Warm and Cozy hat.

As a hat size 8, it's legitimately difficult for me to find hats that don't give me a headache. So, I am generally super skeptical whenever a brand says "One Size" with no sizing info. I was actually happy to see all those reviews mentioning how the hat is "way too big for a human" (paraphrasing), because that usually means it's just right for me. I'm not out here making this hat look cool or anything, but the hat itself does a very good job at exactly what it's designed to do. Taking the hat off reminds me how cold it actually is outside, but the hat also doesn't make me overheated. I got the black one because it goes with my coat, but I probably would have gotten a bright green one if they made them, in honor of our old friend Kyle Broflofski. Read more

This is a warm hat that fits over my very large head. It keeps my ears warm, too.

I have to walk across my parking lot at 4:15 am before the sun rises, and I often get a cold neck and ears. My head is very large, however, so If I wear a hat my hair ends up looking funny after I get to work if the hat is too small. If it is raining or snowing an umbrella won't work because I need my hands to wipe snow away from the windows as I am opening the door. (it's a poorly designed door.) Also, I have to carry around portable oxygen equipment, so that makes carrying an umbrella extra clumsy. Baseball caps and rain hats are usually too small, and they aren't warm enough anyway, at least not for my ears. This hat is good because it comes down over my ears, and also covers the top part of the back of my neck. I leave the neck strap loose because I don't like feeling choked. The hat sits loosely on my head, and the liner material doesn't seem to charge my hair with too much electricity, like I was afraid that it would. There is one problem, however, in that there is too much room between the top of the hat and the top of my head, so that the hat covers part of my vision area. So i sewed a small knit scarf into the top of the hat so that the front rim wouldn't come down so far. It creates a cushion so that the hat edge stays farther away from my eyes. It works. I don't use the face mask, it's not cold enough for that to be necessary. My defrosting system heats up pretty quickly. The rear windows have heat strips. I use anti-freeze wiper fluid, so that melts most of the window ice on the outside. (although I have to replace wiper blades rather frequently.) There is a brief period before the forced air is completely warm, but the hat helps to keep my ears from any cold air inside the car. The windows are clear of inner fog and outer ice after a few minutes, so that I can see to drive. Sometimes I have to scrape a bit of ice, or use my scraper-brush to move snow, but not usually. the hat protects me from most of the moisture of a light rain or snow. By the time I get to work (20 minutes or so on an icy day) I am warm, and I haven't suffered from cold forced air or outside precipitation. When I'm driving I forget that I have it on. There is another short journey across a parking lot after I get to work, but there is an overhang while I get the door open. I'm much more comfortable and dry once I get inside the door at work. It's a very warm, soft, fluffy water-resistant (water-proof? maybe the fabric is water-proof, the construction would modify that description) light-weight hat that folds up so you can put it in a carry-bag if you aren't using it. It has a face-mask, and a throat closing feature that I don't use, but those features would make it even more useful in a colder, windier, or wetter climate, when a person had to spend (or wanted to spend) more time outside in the winter. Good warm hat!

My husband actually ordered this which I thought was hilarious because he usually is always hot for one, for two he works in construction, but he has been outside and we live in Ohio, so it has been freezing for him! He loves this hat! He said it is very warm, blocks some of the wind, and comfortable! Read more

Great hat for Minnesota winters!

Absolutely LOVE it!!!!! Very attractive hat! I do have a larger head and often hats are too small. This one is not at all snug. I just bought two more! I clear snow on my Deere tractor and the snowblower can blast me. This will be a great protective hat for me to wear with my goggles. Read more

Good, needs fixing

Looks good, has potential to keep head and face warm; major flaw: the chin flaps do not wrap the face tight. I took all the slack out of the buckle and it was still loose; that means cold air gets in easily, and for me, on my ebike going 20 mph, or someone who's skiing probably faster, it needs amending. In my case, I wrap a scarf tight around my chin, this seals the chin flaps. Sorry to say, the last one I bought on Amazon had the same flaw, so I've accepted that I have to do my own fix. Read more

Fits all sizes, lightweight and warm

I love it! It's lightweight but very warm. The best is you don't need to know your hat size because you adjust it to fit your head. When my husband saw it, he ordered one for him. Read more
