It is really one size fits all. My husband has a very different head size than me, and it fits us both beautifully. He has many hats like this and this one has quickly become his favorite. The material is so comfortable and does not pill after washing+drying. It does stretch out a bit, but quickly shrinks back to original size when washed. There are no problems with the stitching or loose stitches. It may not insulate as well as synthetic fibers, but even in the far north of the Midwest, where we live, in the dead of winter — it has stopped me from getting minor frostbite/being uncomfortable every time I wear it, which I cannot say for when I am not wearing the hat. I bought this hat in both white and gray, specifically because it is COTTON. I have long hair and often want to be able to throw on a hat to run errands without taking time to shower or wash my hair. I love the softness and light weight of these hats, and they are comfortable for year-round use. They are generously sized; I can't stand a tight hat. They are well-made and look great.
