chouyatou Mens Classic Windproof Removable Hooded Long Winter Puffer Down Coat

M 5'8" 170 Lbs- Large I've wanted a long puffer coat like this ever since I worked at the grocery store & the ladies would have them past their knees; But I couldn't find a mens when I searched. Just got this one on sale for $50, which is a steal. It came with the slightest moldy smell, & I believe I found the tiniest bit of white mold in a little scratch; But synthetics are pretty much mold proof, nothing a spritz of cologne & wipe down won't fix. Besides that, it's perfect; Not too thick, lightweight as expected. Straight fit, not too baggy; The cuffs would be nice tapered; they are slightly baggy but not a dealbreaker. It has soft elastic inner cuffs to keep your heat in, & a (left handed, plastic) double zipper to allow more leg room when you walk; Which is nice because when I fully close it, I need a little more knee room to take a full stride Handsome coat, happy purchase. Product is very warm and comfortable, and is easily packed for traveling purposes. It is long, so it provides additional warmth for legs. The zipper is not robust and is sometimes difficult to get started - should be replaced by manufacturer with a more robust metal zipper. The media could not be loaded. Buy this coat! 20 minutes after delivery, I was walking my dogs on the beach of Atlantic City. It was very windy and about 25 degrees. The coat performed without issue. Long to cover below the knees, zipper and snaps, neck coverage, and the hood stays up in heavy winds. If I had to knit pick, I would ask for deeper pockets. But at this price point, it’s a keeper! Purchased the down version of this coat in both large and x-large. I am 5' 8", 150lbs and the large fits well but a bit snug in the arm shoulder area if I need to wear extra layers underneath. So, I purchased a x-large which fits good with layers. Overall this is a warm coat that seems to be of very good quality for the money. Am giving 4 stars only due to the zipper being hard to start, however once started it works well. Read more

Once again, no matter the brand, anything textile-wise coming out of China is a roll of the dice. This brand was mislabeled, XL was more like a medium men's USA. I had ordered a 2xl based on their size chart as I wanted room to layer sweater / shirts underneath. The gap between the zipper at the chest was about 6 inches. I have one more round of a coat order - different brands - and if these don't fit according to US charts, I'm done with mail-order clothes. In fairness, at least there seems to be some sizing consistency with the US name brands, even though many of these products are manufactured in China too. A buyer need to weigh the inconvenience of poor-quality control in sizing and sometimes, construction against the price of the name brand which can be 3 – 6 times more expensive. After all, who today can afford a $300 - $700 parka for seasonal use? Quality control failures cost all along the supply chain! Manufacturers needs to pay attention to the life and reputation of their brand above all else. Read more

The coat fits perfectly, very comfortable, hood is removable. I hate double zippers but this one works great. The price was $50! I have bought coats for 10x that price that were nowhere near as good. Read more
