I absolutely love this coat. It is well made, warm and stylish. The detachable vest and collar zip up to keep your chest and neck toasty warm. You can button over the sweater vest to give you addition warmth. The military pea coat design means it has a large collar the can stand up for added protection from wind and cold. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really like this jacket. I wore it a few times over the winter and it was warm. Granted, I would not take it into the Alaska wilderness in the middle of January, but it does the job for winter months in most areas. And it looks good. Read more

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Medium weight coat for business travel. Not too hot as an overcoat, allows you to keep it on in more situations to dress up a business casual look. Inner liner fit the extra collar/layering look was short, and zipper was reversed for men, but isn’t a bother. Great style, quality and value. I’m 6’2” 200+ lbs with broad shoulders and long arms and the XL was fitted perfectly. Read more

It’s a great coat and looks stylish. I’ve gotten several compliments on it and it keeps you warm. However, the detachable part is a joke. They use buttons with small loops to hold it on to the neck area instead of snaps which is just a matter of time before they break but the worst part is the cheap zipper. I detached mine because I didn’t need it the last time I wore it and now I can’t get it back on. The zipper is such poor quality it won’t zip at all. Or at least the teeth won’t line up to zip together and the zipper is a pain to move because its quality is so bad. My recommendation if you get this jacket is not to remove that liner or you’ll never get it back on. Read more

I ordered Thick-grey color, which should be Dark Solid inner collar Buttoned on the peacoat, and zipper on the side.( I dont really care if it is black or dark grey cuz I understand different computer have different color tone.) However, what I have received the inner collar is Brown Plaid and connected with zipper on both sides. I requested a replacement, and hoped I can get the real correct style cuz I think the quality is good, and I can accept the zipper instead of buttons. I was wrong...look at the photos, I put them side by side so you can tell not even the collar is still in wrong style, the peacoat color is different too... I guess one of it is the Grey color, but I have no idea which one is my real Thick-grey. I chose Thick-grey because I dont like the plaid pattern, it looks old school in this peacoat design. but they both with different brown of plaid pattern, maybe they are mixed with Thick-khaki?? Maybe the seller just copy the similar style from others?? So disappointed, it was a surprise birthday gift for my fd, he loves the style, but I still care ignore that brown plaid collar. I love this jacket. I was pretty much rolling the dice with this brand, since reviews are all over the place from, “It fit perfectly” to, “Order a size up, because it’s small.” Well, my experience has been that you need to order one size down. I normally wear a medium, but I went with small, because the general rule for pea coats and similar styles like this is to go one to two sizes down. My biggest fear was the arms would be too short, while the rest fit. The arms are perfect. I have a long reach, too. Even if you have shorter arms, this will likely still fit just fine. I’ve noticed that most of the people complaining about it being too small are stockier people who say they’re over 6’ and 200+ pounds. Things just fit differently depending on your body. That’s not a criticism, just a fact. I’m 6’ 1” and about 160lbs, and it fits exactly how a jacket like this should fit. One of my favorite things is that the jacket doesn’t really stick out in front when it’s unzipped. I don’t think a lot of people pay attention to that, but it’s one of the things that drives me crazy about the majority of jackets. The only thing is that this jacket is quite a bit darker than it looks in the picture. That’s fine with me, because I love dark jackets, but if you’re really trying to get something light gray, this is not the right choice for you. I’m not sure why they make it look so much lighter here. The comfort is there, as well. This jacket just feels good.
