These are very cute, I got them in both the blue and black! I originally intended these for spring/early summer, but they are a little heavier/weightier with the two layers than I'd like for those seasons. It can't really be helped though. I am 5'2" and these hit right at the ankles for me. The layers are that sort of a crepe-y fabric, but are still very comfortable and flowy. I originally purchased the X-Large size because the of the size chart (I'm around a 30" waist), but I didn't account for the elastic waistband, so while the X-Large did fit, I could definitely see them riding down after walking in them, so I ordered down in a Large and they fit very comfortable. The color for the blue is a little darker than expected in-person, so definitely more of a winter-y blue look rather than a brighter spring blue. The pleated underlayer only goes from the knees down to the ankles, above that it lays flat. The ties in the front don't do anything to cinch the waistband and are more for decoration than functionality. The only thing I wish these pants had were side pockets, but they're still cute regardless, and I am happy with my purchase. Read more

The fabric and design is not the pretty flowing image. You see a distinct line where the pleated design is. You can see your underwear I want tj return it but the UPS store for us is 1.5 hours away so it would cost more in gas than the refund Maybe someone at the thrift store who does. I bought all three colors in size L. They range from just right fit, to way too big. At least a couple of inches of waist difference in each pair. The fabric is scratchy. I wear shapewear underneath, so this isn't an issue for me, but if you were getting pants rather than skirt to avoid chafing, these won't do the trick. This brand has a pant with ruffles all the way down that is lined with a smoother fabric. They do look exactly as pictured. However, the white ones are see-through. I'm going to have to buy fabric and line them myself. You can even see the delineation between the straight to ruffle pattern shift in the second layer. Read more
