Just received today and let me tell you, I've never seen my 6 month old Chinese crested powder puff soooooo excited. He has played for hours today. I have osteoarthritis really bad and a shoulder with issues right now, and using this is Sooooo easy and fun and works on tile, grass, cement (good things we live in a culdesac. He was so excited he was jumping almost as high as I am (5'1"). We will have many, many hours of fun with this. Tip ... Hold the handle upside down to throw and release. Read more

This is such an amazing addition to my pup’s playtime! Now, obviously I have the smartest, most amazing puppy ever, so .... Look, frankly, I found the ‘donut’ that comes with this ‘throwing arm’ to be way too hard to throw out (I’ve accidentally hit my dog with the Kong donut before, and would Not want to hit her with this one!), but the ‘arm’ itself is physically perfect - in that I love the curve and the whole idea, really. I’ve adapted 2 toys into one that makes my pup Shake in anticipation! I use the Kong donuts with this wand! It squeaks and bounces all over the place, and hits tree roots in weird ways ... the combination is ideal. Except. Except the ‘saddle’ where the donuts rest is a little tight for Kong donuts. You Can press it in to the saddle and still do the “flick” that they describe! I just rest the Kong donut ontop of the saddle and flick it away. She LOVES IT!! (I’m thinking about trying to enlarge the ‘saddle’ with boiling water. Bottom line - I would buy these toys for the arm alone (maybe you can)!! This toy trumps all other toys for my pup! Read more

The media could not be loaded. We have gone through several of these rings. The handle thrower thingy (technical term) did not last forever but we are able to use the ring just by… chucking it and watching it roll. Our dog loves this thing. I am not kidding when I say he brings it everywhere. It doesn’t last forever because he also chews it and pulls the blue rubber parts off… but we have had several in the last few years. He chews it, chases it, brings it back, sleeps with it! I don’t mind spending money on something he plays with so much. Note: This toy does not make your dog “bring it back” or “drop it.” 😂 It helps with training how to do it though!! Read more

When new, this worked great and the dog loved it. He still does. It is his favorite fetch toy. 80 lb german shepherd. BUT... I'll be using the thrower with great success when suddenly....something happens and the toy does not release. This results in the toy being thrown hard into the ground 5 feet ahead of me. I have no idea why this happens. I get another toy and throw that until the toy no longer releases. Read more

My Boston terrier LOVES to chase the chuck it ball and adores the chuck it float toy. We bought the ring as chuck is usually a good brand that stands up to dog play and it seemed like it would be easier for him to pick up and breathe when retrieving during the hot summer months. It fit the bill and he loves it. We play with this every day. The ring takes some getting used to when throwing it. And we could never just snap the handle over the ring like the chuck it ball. You have to pick it up and snap it back on which seems to be a bit of a design flaw. Regardless, he loved it so we use it and keep a towel handy to wipe off our hands when playing. My biggest complaint is that the ring is falling apart into two pieces after a month and a half of use. We don't let him chew or play with it unless we are throwing it and he retrieves it. I bought a replacement ring ($10), but if this one doesn't last then we are done with the ring. We've had the chuck ball for almost 3 yrs and have only replaced one ball (we accidentally launched the ball into weeds and couldn't find it). Read more

My dog loves this toy, but it needs improvement. My dog will not put this down. I had to get extra rings so I could swap them out! It has a very good roll and bounce combo similar to a rabbit running across a lawn. It does take a bit to get the hang of using and isn’t quite as intuitive as the ball launcher. That said, I have two comments/suggestions. I’d LOVE to have a glow ring for this as it’s often too hot in the summer to play until dark and too dark to see them. I’d also suggest the throwing handle have a little more strength right where the head meets the handle. That snapped off with very little force when my dog grabbed hold of it. (See picture.) The rings themselves seem sturdy though I don’t leave them out as chewing toys do the full durability can’t be commented on. Read more

If you are having a hard time finding a mid sized toy for a mid size dog, this is it. Our 36lb lab mix loves this as it is the perfect size for her mouth and speed. It gets going fast and bounces off the ground mimicking prey movements, but in a mostly straight line, and its the perfect size for her mouth to carry. She loves to play tug with it too, but watch your fingers if your dog changes mouth position fast and hard. We bought so many toys for our dog of different types, but if you have a fetch loving slightly mouthy 35lb dog, it may be perfect for you. Also she destroys most toys, and although this isn't a chew toy, she has yet to rip it apart. I got an extra one because she responds so well to it, just in case it gets lost. Read more

Fabulous throw tool and toy . Pup loves chasing it. Great value for the price. Not for chewing. EZ PICK UP SECRET: turn grip of tool handle so CHUCK IT title on grip is upside down, with inside of wrist facing down, insert 2 blue prong end of tool onto any blue spot on inner ring of toy, turn inside of wrist in and upward to scoop up ATTACHED ring. CUCK IT needs to add this information to their video. The pickup spot on video is toooo fast and with no instructions, no wonder a lot of customers got frustrated and gave poor reviews. I hope this information helps past, future customers and CHUCK IT . I love their THROW TOYS Read more
