This is my previous comment. My updated comment will be at the bottom in all CAPS, so you can skip reading it all again. 1st, the positive... I'm going to love this coat. I can hardly believe how affordable it is. I read all of the reviews and I watched the videos. That's what convinced me to buy it. I read some complaints that the coat is so heavy and long. Yes, it's heavy when holding it up, and it looked pretty long too. However, when I slipped into it, the quality felt like something I could've only found 30 years ago. It's made to be windproof. The fabric is very soft to the touch, and the satiny lining makes it easy to slip right on. As far as it being too long.., I'm a short person, but the length is why I ordered it too. It was not down to the floor, but about 4-5 inches above my ankles. It was so comfortable, and the weight was ideal for less extreme winters. I didn't buy a coat like this to battle a blizzard. I cant say enough about how nice this coat it. 2nd, the negative... I'm 5'2 and I weigh approximately 155+ lbs. It's unusually more than I normally weigh, so, I ordered it according to the chart's bust size which appeared to run a little large, but I was incorrect. I run between 39" - 40", so, I ordered a medium. This gorgeous coat and it fit me everywhere but around my waist. I wanted to wear it during the holidays, Thanksgiving is next week. So, rather than wait to receive an exchange, I already reordered a size up, large, and I'll return the smaller coat when I can get to the UPS location, around 40 miles from my home. Or, I'll just pay the $6.00 to have them pick it up. I'm not wealthy, but I'm a little bit lazy. So, there you have it. I forgot to mention that the sleeves were perfect. I hope that the larger coat is the same length. I gave a 5 star rating because the wrong sizing was my own mistake. Perhap when I get the larger coat, I'll write another review and I'll take a picture of how they both look on me to give you all a better idea. If you don't like the buttons, it's easy and cheap enough to just replace them with something that you like. RETURNING THE MEDIUM: I CALLED AMAZON AND THEY SENT ME THE QR CODE I NEEDED FOR THE UPS STORE, WHICH IS IN THE NEXT TOWN, ABOUT 40 MILES. MY FRIEND WAS GOING THAT WAY AND OFFERED TO RETURN IT FOR ME SO I FORWARDED THE CODE TO HER via TEXT. SHE HAD ARRIVED AT THE UPS STORE AT AROUND MID-AFTERNOON. BY 6:30 PM I RECEIVED A TEXT SAYING THAT MY REFUND WAS ISSUED, BUT IT COULD TAKE 3-5 DAYS FOR IT TO SHOW IN MY BANK ACCOUNT. THE REFUND WAS IN MY BANK THE NEXT MORNING. THANK YOU AMAZON!!!!! This is a very heavy, nicely-made coat, especially for the price. The hood is deep, but the material is heavy and the hood is unstructured, it droops on your head rather than framing your face. The coat is long and has a nice shape to it. If the belt were father down, it would have nicer lines in the front and the back. Manufacturers like to put belts so they land across the rib cage rather than at at the true waist, which shortens your trunk and makes you look thicker than you are. I ordered an extra large and will probably return it because the shoulders are too wide for me — the shoulder seams fall below my actual shoulders. The coat is roomy enough that a large will probably fit just right. A feature that is definitely missing is a loop to take the weight offer the shoulders when it's hanging. This means that the full weight of this heavy coat is pulling on the yoke or the shoulders of the coat - it's sure to distort the shape and damage the coat. If you buy this, make sure you also order a very sturdy, padded hanger to keep it on. All of that said, it's a very pretty, classy coat.
