CIDER High Waist Solid Pleated Wide Leg Trousers

I am loving the Cider brand tops, so I thought I'd try the pants. Not so great. They're a thin material, kind of cheap feeling. They aren't the cool wide leg version so popular now, but rather a regular old looking pair of slacks. They're cut small. As much as I love Cider's unique tops, I'll pass on these bland pants. These pants are lightweight, The waist runs small, but the length is longer than expected. They would be ideal for people 5’6”-5’9” in height. They are extremely thin and lightweight - but not see through. They are high waisted. I would have given 4 stars if material was just a bit thicker. These are great for summer, but do not feel like they are high quality or very durable. The button closure feels a little flimsy. The design is very nice and the wide leg fit is as pictured. Got an e mail from the seller said they'd send a return slip they'd like it back.Still waiting on that. Happy to return it and was thinking of re ordering .them. I'm 5'2" and unfortunately these pants to not fit me. I bought a small, which fits in the waist area, but the length of these pants make it nearly impossible to wear for me. These are also extra wide which I'm not a big fan of. I love the color and really wished these were suitable for petite/short people. Read more

I like that the material is thin and breathable. It will be perfect for my upcoming trip to the tropics. The stitching is well done. The fabric is nice and flowy and looks great with movement. The only thing is it is very long, but I am under 5' so pretty much everything is long on me and needs to be adjusted. Read more

This is a great pair of pants for the office. They are comfortable. The waistband is not too tight and has enough give to be comfortable around a full figure like myself. They're breathable. They're actually very light and perfect for spring or summer. I don't know how they'll do in the winter yet, but so far so good. I love the brown color that they are. It goes with many different shades and colors so it makes a great addition to the Staples pant collection. Read more
