-The current price point of about $50 USD seems too high to me and I love Cider clothes. -The fabric is a very thin mix between velvet and corduroy without any of the fanciness of either fabric. -The color is true to the pictures, and the fit is accurate to US women's sizing. If you are between sizes, order UP, not down. -This style MUST fit loosely across your thighs/crotch and you'll look like you lost 20 lbs over night, trust me. -The fabric is very flowy because it's so thin. I'm not sure if it's cheap-thin or just thin-thin, but I don't love it. -Attracts lots of lint and atmospheric debris lol. -I ordered a size smaller than I need right now bc I am working on losing about 30 lbs. The small fits ok, but the medium would have been better. -The pleats need to sit completely flat for this style to be flattering, and you'll know right away. Since my pleats are not flat, I know I have some work to do still. -That said, the waist actually fits fine but has elastic in the back which I love. -Overall, not my favorite garment I've gotten from Cider, but not the worst. Tighter at the waist than expected. I ordered my usual large size and they are to tight at the waist. An X-large would have been a better fit. They are also slightly shorter than expected. The material is soft. Feels like a microfiber, looks like suede. Read more
These CIDER wide-leg pants strike a nice balance between comfort and style. The mid-rise waist sits just right—high enough to feel secure but not overly snug—and the loose, wide-leg cut gives them a flowy, modern look that’s perfect for fall and winter outfits. The fabric has a smooth finish with a bit of stretch, making them comfortable for all-day wear whether you’re going out casually or dressing them up with a blazer. I love that they can easily be styled with chunky boots, sneakers, or heels depending on the occasion. The length runs a little long, which works well if you’re wearing platform shoes, but may require hemming if you’re on the shorter side. My only minor complaint is that the material isn’t as heavy as true wool-blend trousers, so for very cold weather you may want to layer underneath. Otherwise, they drape nicely and hold their shape without wrinkling too much. Overall, these are stylish and versatile pants that feel trendy without sacrificing comfort. Great for casual outings, work looks, or a night out—just be mindful of the length. Read more
Oh no. Not a fan. First off who makes pants without side pockets? These pants actually have flat pockets in the front which are sewn closed-tightly. I have not opened them up but that never seems to end well. Especially with pockets that are in the front. Anything in there will bulge. The outer material? Take it or leave it but it’s the lining that i can’t really place. It’s a bit plasticky. I fear they won’t breathe at all. I’d imagine if you needed a pair of baggy pants, a style i personally love, but you’re unsure on what to buy you might want to take a chance on these but i think the price at 50 dollars is way outta line. Can’t recommend. Will update if i ever actually wear. Read more
These pants are like micro corduroy. They are very comfortable. The back waist is elastic and it looks like a little too much fabric on my backside. The length is long for me, I am 5'2". The width of the pant legs is too wide for me. I love wider leg pants but these are super wide. The pants are nicely made, soft, and would make a good addition to a fall wardrobe - for someone else. Definitely a 70s vibe I wish I could pull off! The burgundy color is nice and perfect for autumn. Read more
The material is a bit thicker than I expected, definitely more of a winter pant than summer (in Texas). The length is good (I'm 5'3") and they are not see through. Over all, they are a good quality for what you pay for them. Read more
Fabric on this pair of pants isn't as soft as I'd hope they would be. They are a little rough to the touch. It could be due to the newness, hopefully washing them will help them be less abrasive. It's not horrible, but it's noticeable out of the bag. The pockets are small, more decorative than usable. Waist fits well, length is decent. The reddish brown color is a bit deeper in person than on the computer ordering screen. Very earthy. Read more
