I decided to get these leg compression therapy “boots” for a couple of reasons. As I age, I find it easier to overdo my exercise routines, so I wanted something to help me recover more quickly for the next day. Additionally, when I have to sit for long periods, I often experience numbness in my legs now. I felt the need for a therapeutic solution to aid in circulation. Pros: Effectiveness: My legs feel less stiff when I goto sleep at night and even better when I get up the next morning. Circulation: I can definitely feel relief in my legs, similar to right after you come out from a real massage. Cordless: The convenince of cordless makes me more likely to break these out when I need them. Settings: Plenty of settings for areas/intensities/times. Comfort: They are comfortable to wear. Cons: Size: I bought the large size, but its still a close fit for me @ 6FT. The calves area is close to not fitting me. Battery: This is always advertised under optimal settings. Realistically, you get about an hour and a half if using them at full strength. Noise: The air compressor does make a lowish level of noise and that can bother some people. Price: This is a fairly expensive therapy tool, but I do think it is helping me avoid health problems. Overall, it does the job and the cons were minimal and expected for me. I should have paid more attention to the 1-star reviews instead of buying into the 5-star reviews. Exactly the same experience as reviewer Sophie Hall - "I’m so disappointed. It’s broken. It doesn’t even work. I fully charged it. It will expand, then beep a few times, and then shut off." Product is way too expensive to be this unreliable. AND I'm STILL waiting for my refund!!!
