No instruction how to use this watch (for beginners) (Citizen web site : no instruction available specifically for this model ) - Watch band links : very difficult to remove (for wrist circumference adjustment ) : need a small hammer (watch repairing hammer) and special tool to hold wrist band in place to remove links - Otherwise beautiful watch , not too heavy . I really like this Watch. It is my first Citizen watch, after mostly owning G-Shocks. I am now in love with the Citizen brand, and I am now looking to purchase one of the more expensive Citizen Eco Drive watches. This is a great looking watch, I love the two tone look and the blue is awesome. It's not a huge watch but it still looks very manly. After being exposed to light, the hands and markings on it are very luminescent, and glow extremely bright for several minutes before returning to a more gentle glow. I mainly wear it to church and when dressing up a little bit and wear my g-shocks to work to get banged around. Great Ciitizen Starter watch, but I wish I had saved up to get a more expensive model. Nice gentleman's diver. It does not have a rotating bezel, but it has a screw down crown, 5 year warranty and great looks. The Citizen is a great Citizen. Read more

This watch is much better looking in person then it is in the pictures. The screw down crown confused me at first but it works. The watch matches a lot of outfits. I would recommend this for a novice watch collector👍 Read more

I’ve seen some shade thrown at this timepiece but let me say it is very good regarding a cost/benefit analysis. The band is extremely comfortable for this price point. The security clasp is not difficult to engage or disengage therefore it’s comfortable on your fingers. Since two-tone is “in” right now, it is very slick, as well as the blue dial also being “in” right now (the last time it was it was the late 1990s). The case is the correct size on my wrist (I don’t think anything over 42mm looks masculine or handsome). Let’s be real: no one uses the chronograph function but it looks great, especially on this piece. Read more

The Citizen AN3394-59L is an absolutely outstanding value. Everything about it is classic, especially the 39mm case size, folded link bracelet, 20mm lug width and simple chronograph functions. It’s what an entry level quartz chronograph should be. Plus it has the added benefit of a screw-down crown and pretty good lume. Get one before they’re discontinued. Read more

Huge disappointment...! I was so disappointed when this watch arrived. I new immediately when this watch arrived that it was not an authentic Citizen watch. My husband is a huge Citizen Watch lover & he already owns a few, 9 Citizens to be exact. He has taught me a few things to look for when purchasing a watch, but it's not easy when your not actually able to view, hold, or inspect the item. Your mostly relying on the word of the sellers description & the few pictures they offer, witch in most cases are not a big help. My first impression of the watch was how cheap it looked. It didn't have the quality look you expect from a high end product such as Citizen (only my opinion). The second was the weight of the watch. Citizen watches are heavy, sturdy watches with a hefty substantial band & made of thick high quality stainless steel. When I compared this watch to an authentic Citizen watch the difference was quite substantial. The third was the branding/logo or I should say the lack of it. Authentic Citizen watches have logos in numerous spots on the watch, the face of the watch, the back of the watch case along with the model & serial numbers should be clearly printed not uneven or misspelled. Metal bands should have the logo on the buckle, clasp or end links. Leather straps may have the embossed logo on the buckle, rubber straps typically display the logo on the buckle as well. The crown of some models will also be discreetly stamped with the Citizen logo. This watch lacked significant branding/logos. The Citizen logo did appear on the face of the watch but it lacked the logos on the back case along with no visible model or serial numbers, also lacked logos on the band & crown. The crown of the watch would not pull in or out & the bezel wouldn't rotate, upon further inspection it wasn't made to rotate it was for appearance purposes only. The bezel should always rotate. The packaging of this watch was also odd. In every purchase I've ever made from a citizen product the packaging has always been high quality & always features the citizen logo on the box. There's always a separate envelope with the user manual & other materials along with the warranty card. This watch lacked the box with the citizen logo & the user manual along with the warranty card. It did have some promotional materials & a discount coupon for additional purchases. I wish I could reference the accuracy & timing of this watch but that would require a working product & since I couldn't even get the crown to pull out to wind the watch that would be futile. I absolutely place little value on this watch. It certainly is not worth the price that I paid. I would not recommend this watch to anyone, friends, family even my worst enemy if I had one. I have purchased other citizen watches from Amazon in the past & have had know issues. I will continue purchasing citizen watches from Amazon but only from the sellers I have already had positive experiences with. I am 99.9% sure that this watch is a counterfeit. This is only my personal opinion. I have no professional or educational knowledge in watches, jewelry or am I involved in law enforcement. Read more
