Sharp out of the box. Fit and finish is excellent. G-10 scales are well chamferred. Civivi button is spot on. Thumb studs are in the right spot. Rear flipper tab is easy to use. Action is smooth. Weight is just right. Balance is right in the middle of the knife. Deep carry reversible pocket clip. Good medium size pocket knife. Compound hollow grind. Nothing not to like with the Triptych. I've had this knife now for just over 3 months. The push button that allows the safety lock to disengage no longer returns to its original position on its own. This means that the knife, when either opened or closed, will not lock. It requires me to pound the knife, button-side down, on something solid to get the lock to engage in either position. While I like the knife, it's unsafe, and unusable. 3 months is not a long enough period to justify the purchase as a day-to-day knife for a computer programmer. I cannot recommend this knife due to its poor quality, and dangerous function. Read more
