2 things. 1) The minute and hour hands are not white like they look in the picture, they are very thin and silver, which are difficult to read. 2)The watch adjusts with a clip that leaves a bunch of excess links underneath the watch band (which is sandwiched in between your wrist and the clip), which you can break off if you want. There is no way to remove links otherwise, you have to break them. Even after doing this, it will still rub and leave painful red marks on your skin. I'd like to amend the review I wrote (see below). The seller DID get back to me; they had been away at a convention. They were pleasant and patient to deal with. They admitted the hands are not luminous, as stated in the advertising copy. And agreed that the date is difficult to read (a design issue). The problems with the clasp were my fault. They patiently explained how to clasp it properly. Still, it is an awkward process. I have bumped my rating from three to four stars after having communicated with the seller. Overall, I really like the watch! ~~ I have a few issues with this watch. #1.) The main reason I bought it was that the advertising said, "perfect for seniors Low-Vision User..." Not entirely true. While the numbers are easy to read (just what I wanted!), the DATE is nearly impossible to see or set. #2.) They also claim, "The Luminous hands ensure easy visibility in the dark..." NOT TRUE. They are impossible to see in the dark. I tried exposing them all day to a bright light, but there was zero resulting luminosity after dark. #3) The clasp is a nightmare. It was very difficult getting it into position. Once positioned, it is difficult to keep closed. It pops open at inopportune times, and the watch flies off. I think the seller COULD adjust their advertising copy to more accurately reflect their product. I communicated my concerns to the seller, but heard nothing back.
