This is a decent collection of tire and inner tube rubber patches with 15 to 25 pieces in each of five different sizes. There are two square sizes, two round sizes and one oval-shaped size. These can be used to repair radial and bias tires and also inner tubes. These are ready to use, you only need to remove some plastic backing, however, you will need to source vulcanization cement because these patches must be activated to properly attach them to the tire or tube surface. You also need sandpaper or a rasp to rough the surface where you intend to install the patch and a roller or similar round object to properly roll out any air bubbles that form in the cement. A set of tire spoons is also recommended to aid in removing the tire from the rim or wheel to do the repair. You can often just free one side of the tire from the rim and reach inside the tire to apply the patch. Follow the preparation instructions and allow the vulcanization cement adequate time before applying the patch. It will cloud over when it is ready to apply the patch. I have been repairing tire punctures since I was a kid and learned how to patch the inner tube on my bicycle. As an adult I have fixed punctures on riding mowers, tractors, hand trucks and other wheeled equipment. Doing that yourself saves time and costs much less that having a shop do the repair. Bear in mind that you cannot repair punctures on the side wall of automobile, truck, etc., tires, only punctures on the tread face. Also, you can insert a rubber plug into a vehicle tire from the outside as an emergency repair, but it will be more reliable if you also apply a vulcanized patch to the inside tire surface atop the plug repair. This set of CKAuto patches will be incorporated into a potpourri of patches I keep in a kit in the garage. I have plugs, a reamer and insertion tool, rubber patches, a rasp, sandpaper, a roller tool to press the patch and remove any air bubbles from the vulcanizing cement. As my existing cement was getting old, I purchased a can of cement to replace the older cement. This package of 100 patches will suffice for the rest of my life and the $25 for the 100 patches and $10 for a new 8 oz can of vulcanizing cement will be paid back in savings after the first three or four puncture repairs I complete. These patches are well-made with a protective film to protect them until you need to install them. They are packaged in a robust cardboard box, but the way they were packed into that box at the factory caused the protective film to open on one edge of one patch and five other patches have an edge or corner curled from how they were packed into the box. It is annoying to see this minor damage because they appear to have been packed in a hurry without taking care to avoid creating this damage by pushing them into the box carelessly. This observation is a minor annoyance and IMO did not warrant deducting a star given the high quality and obvious attention to the materials employed and manufacture. Hopefully someone at the seller end reads these review and takes an action to pack the boxes more carefully. Read more
This kit has a good assortment of size and shape repair patches. They are well made, good quality patches that have some decent weight to them, and should be good and durable. You will need to source some vulcanizing rubber cement to install these, but that's easy enough. You will also need to properly prep the area where you need to install the patch, but doing so will ensure that the vulcanizing cement will bond the patch properly so it holds correctly. The plastic backing on these is easy to remove, and the only thing you need to do before applying after the surface prep and cement has been applied. Done properly, these patches hold quite well and should provide a permanent repair. For the number and variety of patches that are included in this kit, it's a good value and worth having if you do your own repairs. Read more

The good: These are thick, heavy duty rubber for patching tires. The misleading description: They are not "plug repair" patches. If you're using them for full sized car or truck tires, I personally wouldn't use these. I would use a plug patch if I wanted a long-term solution. But if you're using them for something lighter duty, these are great! Read more
The webpage description uses wording that includes “Combination”, “Patch Kit”, “Tire Plug”, “Repair Kit”. This item is none of these. I ordered the 100-piece mix, which is an extensive assortment of different size patches. But only patches are included, and nothing more. I haven’t used any yet, but they appear to be top quality and well made. They are multiple layer patches, suitable for bias and radial tires and tubes. An excellent addition to the well- equipped DIYer that already has the tools and chemical vulcanizing cement on hand. For the tire shop with hot vulcanizing equipment, these patches would also work for them. Read more
This CKAuto Combination All-Purpose Tire Repair Patch Kit is a no-nonsense set for plugging up flats on cars, trucks, vans, bikes, and even inner tubes — and in real shop use it does exactly what you need: stops air leaks fast without fancy tools. With 100 round plugs, you’ve got plenty of patches for roadside fixes or shop jobs when a nail or screw decides to make your day interesting. The plugs are heavy duty and easy to work with; they seat well in most punctures and seal up air quickly when you follow the usual prep steps. The tools in the kit are basic and get the job done — nothing fancy, but nothing that feels flimsy either. After years of wrenching on my Focus, F-150, Navigator, and motorcycles, I can tell you having a kit like this in the truck or garage sure beats improvising with rope and glue when you’re stuck. My only minor note is that really large gashes still need a proper patch or plug from a tire shop, but for everyday punctures this kit has you covered. Overall, a practical, dependable tire repair kit worth keeping within reach. Read more
