Clarks Womens Carleigh Ray Oxfords

I ordered the blue ones of these first in my usual size of 8.5 and I can tell you they are beautiful and comfortable; however, they do run narrow/small. I have a normal sized foot and have never had a shoe be too tight on me in my correct size. I find that as long as I do not wear bulky socks with these, they will fit me fine. I loved these shoes so much that I decided I needed a black pair as well, so I ordered my same 8.5 size but in wide and they fit perfectly. I was able to wear these for my whole shift at work without any issue. I will say that with the wide I am able to slip them on and off without having to undo the zipper so hopefully they will not be too loose on me. I recommend these shoes just be aware they may be too narrow, so it might take a few times to get the right fit for your feet. Read more

UPDATE: I've had these for several months now and the leather tab came off one of the shoes. I can slip them on so not a huge deal but disappointed. Still good shoes. I wore them nonstop on a three week river cruise with no problems. Very comfortable, good arch support and I can wear them all day, high quality leather and goes great with everything, they do run narrow. I normally wear a 12M or an 11.5M. based on other reviews, I ordered a 12 W and they were perfect. Read more

These Clarks slip-on, boot-like shoes are made of real leather, and they are comfortable right out of the box. They flex with my movement so I didn't have to break them in before I wore them all day. Although they aren't the most elegant and feminine shoes I own (not by far!), they are Clarks after all. They are designed for function as much as form. I like the side zippers for ease on stepping into them, although, as I've worn them, I no longer need to unzip them unless I'm wearing thick socks. Still, I keep the zipper pulled down, just a little. The shoes have the typical Clarks stitching across the front (at an angle) and along the sides and back. I wear between an 8.5 and a 9, and this site recommended a 9 for me. They fit perfectly. I have solidly medium-wodth feet, and they hug my feet at the sides. Navy Blue/Nubuck…I wear a size 9M and these fit like a leather Glove. Unzip, slide your foot in smoothly, no catches or rough spots. They literally hug your feet. I actually was attracted to the Price FIRST only because I’m on a budget and Clark’s Name was my first thought because I TRUST CLARK’s! This was my first time buying “Nubuck” and all I can see is the difference is they are not shiny like so many leather shoes you buy are. When I opened the box, I LOVED THEM IMMEDIATELY. The surface feels smooth, a velvet like feel. Very sturdy well made shoe. I show you in the close up you get that extra wedge of give on the inside of each shoe. These don’t move up and down while walking. On the outside of each shoe you have a nice looking zipper. Plenty of toe room, which is another great thing for anyone who enjoys a great feel to your toes when walking there is no stinging pinch when walking. The toes are not narrow but more rounded. To those who say they seem long in the front? You’ve ordered the wrong size and it’s just not true if you buy your correct size. I don’t want to forget the soles, they are not that hard plastic-like feel at all…they feel more of a rubber-like, softer feel, great for walking. It is also nice to feel the arch support which offers a great walking feeling while looking very stylish at the same time. I got it all including the value for the money I spent feeling. Lastly, nothing better than that Win/Win feeling when you buy Clark’s Shoes and it’s a perfect, comfortable fit from heel to toe! So the shoe is amazing. I'd give the comfort, quality, cushion, how it looks all at a 5 stars. However as many people has mentioned there are size issues. I'm a size 7 with normal width. I saw a lot of people have size issues but of they were too long or too wide were inconsistent. Because of that I got my normal 7 as I've only ever had to get one shoe not in that size even when other people have problems. So the 7 was too small every where so I figured just going up the half size up to a 7.5 would work. Nope, too long and too wide. So I then returned the second one. I then got the 7 wide figuring surely that would fix the problem. Nope. My heel slips out. So if you are willing to play what size am I with returns and exchanges maybe you will have some luck.
