With some boots, a wide size feels more comfortable. Sometimes, it's not necessary & just looks too round & clownish. I might have traded them for a regular width but I wasn't given that option, because the price went up. Another issue was the stiff material around the ankles which was rubbing. That might have loosened over time, but I wasn't confident about that. Read more
