It's the best boning knife on the market
Many years ago I was a devotee of a different brand that was also made in Solingen, Germany but in recent years that brand has gone downhill. As a professional chef I also have owned Wusthof knives over the years and they have emerged as the best long term knife investment I have ever made. This boning knife is just awesome. I actually use it as a utility knife and not just a boning knife. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. You cannot go wrong. Read more
The Best
Wusthofs are the best! I bought this for my girfriend who is a chef and she uses it all the time. When she was in culinary school about 15 years ago they gave all the students a roll of Wusthofs that she has kept and we still use everyday in the house or when we cater friend's parties. After 15 years they are still top notch with very little wear. The only reason I needed to buy this for her was we lost it while making dinner at someone elses house...yes, we bring them to other peoples houses if we know they don't have Wusthofs or at least Henkels. Very useful and sharp knife.
Purchased this knife as a gift for my mom. We have our own and she had mentioned many times how much she liked using it. It is very sharp and works well especially for cutting up chicken and other meats. We have several Wusthof knives, but this one we use most frequently as does my mom. Read more

Please see pictures of delivered product. This is a $170.00 forged German knife was put in an envelope to send to me. I get to buy a couple of these a year and one day my 35 slot Wusthof block will be full. That being said, I'd like to know that the company I buy from cares for my product better than this. Next time I won't be in such a hurry. Read more
