This soft flame butane cigar lighters is top-notch! It looks great, has nice weight, is reliable so far, and the"ping" sound the top makes when you flip it open is epic! I wish it would "ping" upon closing the lid too! I have only owned this lighter for a short time, but so far it seems to be built very well and i anticipate many happy uses ahead. Read more

No instructions provided. Trial and error and mostly error. No gas coming out after filling and no spark from spark wheel. Total disappointment. Looks good, nice finish and satisfying heft to it. Too bad it doesn’t work. Printed a return label and it’s going back. Read more

What this does best is to mimic the look and feel of a genuine S.T. DuPont lighter, without the same level of quality or attention to detail. The design calls out some of the looks you really only see in antique lighters anymore, and I really appreciate the attempt at making an "heirloom" accessory of the type that isn't really made anymore. It functions about as expected, with a nice crisp "ping" on opening, as well as throwing a strong spark to ignite it. It doesn't offer any kind of wind protection, so any broad comparisons to a Zippo end right about there. The lighter doesn't seem to do a great job of retaining fuel, nor is there any way to tell how much it's been filled. The process of filling is a little questionable as well, because I was also only able to get it properly filled when I wasn't using the included adapter. Maybe it's not to be used all the time, but I wouldn't know because there are no instructions of any kind, not even on their own company's website. The biggest issue I see is that I have to ask, "who is this actually for?" There are many other lighters that are cheaper and more practical, or just do their job better. If you're mainly interested in the style, then the premium you pay for this lighter also doesn't make a lot of sense. Finally, the S.T. DuPont lighter that this seems to be a 1:1 dupe of is a pretty quiet way to show off that you have the money to drop 4 figures on a lighter, but the paradox is that the people that know enough to be impressed by a S.T. DuPont are the only people that would also notice that this isn't one; to anyone else, it's just a lighter. Which, of course, it is. Read more
