The terry material is nice and thick, soft warm and absorbent. It was bigger than I expected, I have to roll the sleeves up about 5 inches, I probably should have it tailored. I’m sorta “fluffy” and short at 5’3” 165lbs so the wrap fit is perfect for me and the length ends at the top of my ankles keeping my whole body warm as I step out of the shower. It’s of such high quality that even worn straight from the package it doesn’t leave any lint on my wet body like most new bath towels do. I love this robe!!!!! I hope it will last the same 24 + years of daily use like my old one ( I got from a Royal Caribbean Cruise from Hawaii to Canada to Washington. ) That was a great bathrobe. Read more

I love the quality and it's a bargain price. I've used it for years and it's still a beautiful white color. It fits well still. Read more

Bought one for him and one for her for hot tub use. My husband is the worst when it comes to abusing clothing. He has eaten stain inducing foods in his robe like salsa. But they have really washed out nicely. No stains. And I have not used bleach and I have been drying them on normal heat cycles. They are still the same as when I bought them, soft and comfortable, warm, absorbent, and they have not shrunk. They are so nice for the outdoor hot tub. I've had them hanging on a hook outside when in the hot tub, during the light rain, and though the outside is certainly damp/wet, the inside was still bone dry. Very absorbent, but at the same time, when you are wet, it slides right on and doesn't stick to you. This is the reason these types of materials are so great after being wet. I need to buy them in a bath towel, the material is so great, IMO. It was worth the $ to me at this point. And the stitching has given me no issues. Hope they keep holding up the way they have been. UPDATE: 2yrs later these robes are STILL in great shape. I have now.bleached them and dried on high. They have still help up beautifully. I am attempting to buy them now for my STR(short term rental) I am fixing. I plan to put a hot tub there and these robes are amazing. Crappy photo, but here's mine put in the snow on my hook by the hot tub. Love my robe. Read more

The media could not be loaded. You will love and enjoy this well-made Turkish Cotton Robe if you understand the quality and care of Turkish grown cotton. Cotton grown in Turkey has a long growing season that makes the cotton fibers long and strong which softens after washing and use. (I have studied and prefer natural materials and hate plastics and polyesters.) Upon opening the package a small amount of fluff fell off the material onto the floor which I think is normal as it is new, unwashed and unworn. The robe has a good substantial cotton medium weight and thickness; 400 gps, not too thick or thin, which immediately shows its quality. This level of weight and quality matches its price point as not the most expensive nor the least expensive compared to other similar terry cotton or velour/cotton robes that I searched through via Amazon. Medium weight for a medium price point. Also upon opening the package I inspected the robes stitching throughout and found very strong, secure sewing throughout the hem, collar, pockets and belt without any loose stitches or areas lacking or missing sewing. There were no holes, stains, odor or color issues. The robe is a nice bright, true white color. The robe features two deep pockets, a long belt with two different heights of thick belt loops, long sleeves, not Kimono style, Turkish style, so it has a tapered collar and lastly, a hanging loop inside the collar which is sewn strongly. Now for the fit…I am 5’3”, 100 lbs so I purchased the small size. Usually my size is x-small, but I wanted a slightly oversized fit so that the robe would cover to my wrists and calves to keep me warm after the jacuzzi, pool and shower in the cooler months here in California, and it is fitting exactly that way to my wrists and calves. At the time of my purchase, an x-small size was not offered. I would like to give a 5-star rating, however, there is a difference in pricing among the various sizes which seems a bit unfair and I do not understand this pricing. At the time of my purchase and review, the small sized robe is priced higher than a medium sized robe, for example, which seems penalizing and unfair. I have not found that to be the case with other clothing items available for purchase thru Amazon, so I am at a loss as to why this item would be priced differently for different sizes. I immediately washed the robe just as the care instructions stated on the collar tag; warm water and dried it on low. I washed it by itself with no other clothes or towels for its first wash and did not use any fabric softener or dryer sheet, so that any loose fluff or fibers would be removed from the fabric and not stick to the fabric. The robe came out fluffy, soft and wrinkle free and because I dried it on low the fragile cotton loops stayed intact. It dried relatively quickly in under an hour because it isn’t too thick. There was nothing to trim or remove from the fabric. I did notice shrinkage in the length of the robe. Prior to washing the robe the length was to my ankles and after washing the length shrunk to my calves. I believe it looks perfect though and the small bit of shrinking does not bother me. I believe with more use and washing it will become even softer as good Turkish cotton does. Going forward I will probably wash it with cold water to avoid anymore shrinking, and I will use a small amount of fabric softener, but I will always dry it on low. I love my new Turkish cotton robe! Thank you Turkey and Amazon! If I take good care of my new robe, I think it will last for many, many years to come. PS. The photos show the robe before washing and the video shows it after washing. Pre-washing, a bit wrinkled from shipping and post washing it is softer and fluffier without wrinkles. Read more

Looking for a while to replace a very old towel robe I had. This seemed the best option (made in Turkey with Turkish cotton better than made in China!). And indeed I am very pleased with this and feels just like my old one, even better since it is a little longer. I ordered XXL instead of my size which would be XL owing to comments about high shrinkage upon washing but I found that the shrinkage, if any, was minimal, certainly much less than that stated in other comments. So the robe wraps around me a little more and the sleeves are a little on the longer side, but for a robe neither of these is a bad thing, so you too may want to get a size larger than what would normally be your size. The quality seems very good, good material, good stitching. Some comments had mentioned a lot of shedding cotton fibers, but I didn't find that to be the case either (of course in the first wash you're going to get more lint than usual in the dryer as with any new cotton towel-like product). Great robe for the price but it wreaks of chemicals. I can’t decide if I try to wash out and get that out or if it’s there for life. Sigh. Read more
