For size reference, four water bottles will fit inside. It has an elastic mesh pocket on the side, a zippered pocket on the front, and a zippered mesh pocket inside. It has a shoulder strap and a handle to carry it. The handle has a buckle on it so you can open it and easily attach it to a book bag. My son likes to do that so he only has one thing to carry.
