I thought I was going to have to buy a new iPad even though the one I have is only a few years old. I got the keyboard when I bought the ipad and I use my iPad for everything. It is my financial records, family and friends address and phone numbers, appointments, ect. So When it wouldn’t change anymore, I thought oh no another $1600. Then my husband said maybe it’s just the port is dirty. So I went on Amazon and sure enough they had this cleaning kit. It came the next day with little brushes and other stuff. I literally thought that my iPhone was reaching its end of life as it would no longer charge from the charging port. This thing helped out a lot and solve that problem. I gave these as Christmas presents to my son and one of his truck drivers. They both have iPads and iPhones that stay with them all the time. They use them when they are in the trucks, hunting , etc. I don’t think they have ever been cleaned. Both the guys were surprised at the number of tools and the compactness of the case. So I used this kit, and while using it, I was sure it was garbage. I knew it would feel cheap because it is cheap, but I was hoping it would work, and it sure did not seem like it was working. But here is the thing... It worked! It worked really well. My phone now charges with ease, and there is no need to use "that one cable that works" or to "bend the charger a certain way." None of that is needed. It just charges as it should, and it is because this kit worked. It does take some time. I used the iPhone lightning cleaner, then I used the spray, then I used the lightning cleaner again, and then I used the bottle brush thing. Must have item is you wear your ear buds or take your phone in to work with you. Works great and get in all the places that dirt and grime like to hide in. Now I dont have any problem at all getting my ear buds to charge or my phone to charge now that I can really get in there and give those hard tobreach places a good cleaning. Read more

The tools are pretty ok, but the case is poorly designed. It will not stand up on the base due to the curved bottom. You cannot lay it on the front or back with the lid open either. The only way to place it with the lid open is on its side, which I found awkward. Read more

Nice kit to keep iPhone and iPad ports clean. The tools in the kit made it easy to clean out lint that collects in the ports over the years. Adding some compressed air along with the tools really does a nice job on cleaning the ports. The kit will hopefully add some more use time to my iPhone 11 Max and iPad 2 which work fine and have good battery power. Read more
