I bought this as a bag to take along when I visit my daughter and grandkids for the day. It is lightweight, yet very sturdy with an interior wire frame. It is a perfect size--not too small and not too big. I can fill it with all sorts of "grandma" fun things (books, toys, games) and it I have no problem carrying it with nice strong handles. This bag is so versatile and sturdy (also super cute). It is the perfect size for just about anything! (I am considering ordering a second since I love it so much.) FUNCTIONALITY: The straps are thick enough to stay sturdy carry any load. The bag snaps open really easy and once snapped open it does not feel like it will collapse at the slightest bump and my stuff fall out. The bottom is hard so when you pack it you don't have to worry about the bottom sagging and things shifting around in it. It is a great bag for your trunk, groceries, or toting kids' stuff. I purchased this not realizing it came with two! What a treat! I attached a sign to one that says ‘flip your glops here’ and we hang it on a hook on the piling where our boat entry is. Everyone puts their shoes in it as they enter our boat and then we take it aboard so we all have our shoes for when we get to our destination. It’s PERFECT because when not in use it folds flat.. very important in small spaces. It’s sturdy made from nice material and everyone on our dock just loves it with the sign- they thought I purchased them as a set. The reviewed the sign separately if you’re looking for it. The ‘extra’ one, my son swiped for his dorm - he skis at school and this cute storage holds all of his gloves, hats and boot warmers nice and neat. This bag is fantastic – sturdy, practical, oversized, easy to store, easy to fold flat and stash in the bottom of a shopping cart while you load the cart up. First of all, let me say that I like this tote very much. I'll be using it to carry around an absolute mess of beauty products for an upcoming family wedding this fall; I'll be traveling by car, staying in hotels for a while, and doing a LOT of hair. Regular toiletry bags weren't going to come anywhere close to carrying what I needed, so I decided to go with something much bigger (and cuter). This tote is sturdy, it looks nice, and it will fill its purpose just fine. That said, I was disappointed to realize that the dimensions in the photo (shown with measurement lines at the BOTTOM of the tote) are actually the dimensions of the TOP of the item. Since the tote tapers toward its base, the bottom dimensions are about 2-2.5" smaller, and the dividers I carefully selected to fit inside are just slightly too large to open all the way. Luckily, the sides of the tote (and the dividers I bought separately) aren't rigid, so it will still be able to hold 90% of what I'd hoped it would. For reference, the photo shows the tote holding 2 12"x5" diaper bag dividers, 2 full size bottles of body wash, 2 full size bottles of face wash, 2 10oz bottles of shampoo/conditioner, 3 bottles of leave-in conditioners ranging from 2oz to 12oz, full size bottles of hairspray, mousse, and heat protectant, 2 small jars of facial moisturizer, 1 small bottle of facial toner, 2 small jars of body butter, 1 small bottle of lotion, lip scrub/balm, 3 different sunscreens (from a medium sized tube to a big family sized spray bottle), an epilator with its charger, an electric toothbrush with its charger, deodorant, a full-sized hand mirror, a 6" flat box of hair ties and pins, an 8" flat box of crocodile clips, a great big jaw clip, a 4.3" bun donut, a full size blow-dryer, a very large volumizer, and a curling wand. I forgot to stick all my combs in there before the pic, but there's still room for some flatter things so they should fit fine. So yeah, even if it's not quite as large as I expected, it can still hold a lot, and I might even be able to get my brushes in there if I swap some full-size bottles out for travel-size bottles. This was a lovely bag. Very sturdy, very well made. Very pretty. Unfortunately I did return this bag because I actually needed something that was not as sturdy! I needed a bag that was as well made as this one but was a bit more flexible for my needs. It did fold nice and flat for storage but where I wanted to store it for the day the overall dimensions were a bit too big. If you need a sturdy large carry tote I would highly recommend this one.
