It's great quality seems as if it would be sturdy and the tension is pretty easy comes with directions easy to follow instructions on the rod. These rods were pretty easy to assemble & install. They are made of heavy duty material and fit in my coat closet nucely. However I had a little over 7' for both poles to hang coats. The kit came with wire hangers for additional support but I used a metal bracket for support and added reliability which was also ordered from Amazon. I installed both rods in 1 closet so we could stagger the coats between them and get all them to fit properly in the closet. Thank goodness there was a stud in the middle of the closet for the support rack. These rods are probably supporting ~65-75 lbs each and I didn't think the wire support that came with the units was going to be enough. In most cases for laundry rooms or lighter duty I'm sure the wire supports that came with the rods are fine, however. Read more

I love it. I’ve put an ungodly amount of clothes on this thing. This many clothes broke my last rod, but I’ve put this one to the test and it holds up like a champ. It does bend a bit in the middle because of all of the shirts, but it isn’t struggling at all. The material is very nice. My only complaint is that I wish they had a few more varying sized pieces to try and get a better fit for my closet length.. I don’t think mine would bend nearly as much if I had more length able to fit in the tube. But it could just be an unlucky me moment. Read more

Here at a house I am renting, the wooden closet rod the landlord had broke so I was in need of sturdy, reliable replacement. Not only did this fit perfectly into the existing brackets (thankfully I didn't need to install the brackets that came with this so I can't speak to that) but this was easy to just slide in, extend, add to length, decrease etc and so far is holding up clothes. I would say there is a slight bend, not sure how accurate the "up to 66 lbs" ad is but so far so good. Read more

It does the job and it’s holding up my clothes. I haven’t fully loaded it, yet, but it doesn’t seem to be straining with what I have on it now. I would recommend involving two people when installing this. I found it more difficult than I thought necessary. The rod wouldn’t stay extended when I was trying to install it, though I haven’t had trouble since I got it installed. Read more
