I love this rack. It’s handy for hanging clothes temporarily, especially if I need to examine them or stash them until I can find a home for them, but I mainly use mine for crafting. As my projects are in progress, pieces are everywhere. This rack allows me to hang items I’m working on and keep them organized. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions are great, and it's intuitive enough that I probably could have assembled it without the instructions. Why this particular rack? - It is sturdy and solid, and heavier than others I looked at. - It has little, discreet stoppers on the top bar that prevent hangers from falling off the ends. - It has wonderful “tree branches” (six of them) on the vertical bars that are excellent for hanging jewelry, strings of beads, cutters, rolls of tape, and anything else I can fit onto them. So, so handy. - It has a wire shelf on the bottom that is perfect for stacking up all kinds of supplies and products. - It rolls, and it rolls very well. It moves smoothly, and it’s easy to maneuver around my small craft room. Two wheels have brakes, and they work fine, but I honestly move the rack around so much that I don’t use them. I am satisfied that I ordered the best rack for my needs, and I’d order this one again if I needed a second one. Read more

This little rack was annoying to put together. The wheels go on by way of this very slim nut. And it does come with the very thin wrench to use for it. But the wrench is so thin and the nut is so thin that the wrench is hard to keep on the nut, or even get it on there. Use your fingers and thread the nuts on the wheels as far as you can before you deal with the wrench. The pieces towards the top that stick out and are made for hanging hats, scarves and purses were a pain to install too. Both of them had flat spots where they're supposed to slide over the pieces under them. The one had 1 flat spot so it wasn't too much to get it on but the other one had 2 flat spots which made it pretty tricky to finally get it on there. Now, if it weren't for those specific issues, this would have taken about 36 seconds to put together. But instead, it took a good 30 minutes. The rack stands about 5 ft tall and is as wide as a standard doorframe. I know that's a weird way to measure it but I say that because, if you're wanting to tuck this into your closet, it'll fit. I suppose a lot of people buy things like these because they don't have a closet or need the extra closet space. This has a wire shelf on the bottom for shoes. The pieces that stick out work well for hanging purses or scarves or hats. The top of the rack is for hanging clothes on hangers and there's little nubbies to keep the hangers from sliding off. My original plan was to put this downstairs to keep clothes on down there. Once I put it together, we decided to keep it in our spare 'guest' room. The closet in there is full of my craft supplies because that's my craft room. This will leave a place for visitors to hang their bags and coats while they're here. It's a little flimsy once it's together but it actually does hold weight well. I took a star off because of the issues putting it together. Read more

This clothing rack has proven to be a great help in improving storage in my extra-small apartment. Living in an old home with only one closet has proven to be a challenge, especially for a family of six. That being said, I have tried several other systems for storage, but they are often bulky or fall apart with regular use. This rack was not only easy to assemble, but it feels sturdy and is capable of handling daily use. I appreciate the sleek, streamlined design, which still looks cute and not cheap or flimsy. Overall, I feel this item is worth the price and will be purchasing more for the home. Great buy. Read more

This has been really useful for “laundry flow” — especially when you’ve got a pile of clean clothes and need a place to hang things temporarily, sort outfits, or move items room to room without making ten trips. Our bedrooms (and closets) are all upstairs, and our laundry is downstairs. Often, this results in a pile or bunch of hampers stuck in transit downstairs until we get everything relocated... and things that would normally be hung can sometimes get crumpled up and wrinkled in the transition. This allows us to immediately hang up clothing downstairs and keep them looking nice, even if we don't take them upstairs right away. It feels sturdier than the flimsy racks that wobble the second you hang anything heavier than a t-shirt. The wheels roll smoothly, and being able to lock them is great when you want it to stay put. The bottom shelf is a nice bonus for shoes, bins, or folded items. We use them for a bunch of the blue Ikea shopping bags that make truly useful hampers. Simple product, but it’s one of those that immediately makes a routine task easier. Read more

This garment rack was very easy to assemble. Most of the pieces just snapped together. It took about 10 minutes to fully assemble it. Once assembled it’s about 5 feet tall and 29 inches wide. It’s pretty rickety. It rolls just fine, and it’s good as a temporary garment rack, but it’s very light duty. I think I would use it to put my clothes on while I’m packing for a trip. I’d also use it to wheel out clothes to show someone. It can also be a coat rack if you’re having a few people over, but it’s not impressive. It’s very utilitarian and it’s not going to look nice in your front hall for a party. It would work if you were using a bedroom for coats and you didn’t want to throw everything on the bed, but it’s still not a high capacity rack. It would only accommodate 6 to 8 coats if you squished them together or if they were light jackets. I’m disappointed by how rickety it is, but it is still a useful rack. The price at the time of this review is $25.99. That’s not terrible, but it’s not a good value either. For all of those reasons, I’m giving it four out of five stars. Read more
