Cloudenergy 48V 51 2V 105AH LiFePO4 Lithium Golf Cart Battery Built-in 250A BMS 3C Discharge with 20A Charger

I just wanted to put out my thoughts on the Cloud Energy GFA48V-105AH. Shipping was faster than expected. It took 5 days to reach me on the east coast from the west coast, even though the expected delivery date was 11 days after purchase. When the box arrived, it was packed very nicely using the kind of packing material that is the same consistency of a pool noodle. Everything had its own place and there was no damage. Very nicely done. They really seem to be take in account what golf cart consumers are looking for when building their products. The 250amp BMS with constant discharge 250A (400A for 35 seconds, 600A 3 seconds) is added bonus for my 400amp Alltrax Controller and D&D motor. This is the one with the ABS plastic shell, unlike others who glue theirs together, this one is screwed together like the metal shell ones. They have little plastic covers that go over the screw heads. The terminals where you attach power cable has 2 screw holes each for both positive & negative connections which is nice if you are attaching a lot of cables. My only complaint is that the battery doesn't have an on/off switch. Installation is pretty straightforward, on my Drive2, even though I just put it in the battery tray and used the ratchet straps tie downs to secure it. The display cable more than long enough to put just about anywhere on the cart. Performance is really good. According to the bluetooth app, I was pulling 219 amps from a dead stop just above the base of a very steep hill in my campground, and it pulled nicely with speed increasing all the way to the top. The instant power is so nice, pushing the cart to about 25mph, which is more than I would need. So far, with just a weekend of driving it, really pushing it to see if the battery would let me down, it came away with zero problems or hiccups. Upgraded my 2024 Kandi 4P to this lithium battery. Installation was very easy- biggest challenge was getting the old heavy batteries out. Once that was done , the new battery was so much lighter and a breeze to drop in the cart. My cart is faster and the battery lasts easily more than 30 miles now. The power and voltage never drops. I have a lot of hills in my complex and the cart would drop down to 7 miles per hour going up hill with 4 people in the cart. Now I top the hill at 17 MPH. Love the LED screen that came with it as well as the app. Cart life and performance is 10 times better. Highly recommend! Had a small problem with the display but Vivi took care of it right away. Purchased the 48v 105ah Cloudenergy battery for our 2012 EZGO TXT because I wanted to store it at our campground and have it there whenever we camped but there is no electricity in the storage area and wet cells with unpredictable weather don’t last terribly long without a trickle charge. I purchased from Cloudenergy because of the high number of consistently positive reviews, the battery arrived quickly and the installation went very smoothly and effortlessly after watching several videos. The final results have been impressive to say the least and my wife and I have not been disappointed. It holds a full charge for weeks on end in storage. I must say it was love at first sight. I have had this in for a month now and not one complaint. This battery is amazing. I installed it on my 2010 Club Car. Very clean and versatile battery setup. Installed in a few hours. Very minimal modifications to my cart. The included plud adapter fit right in the factory hole and screwed in tight. Charger was amazing with no worries. All my friends love the display screen. And the best part about it all is no longer having to worry about charging every night. But the biggest part is the power improvement. This thing has brought this car to life. So much power and with the 250 amp bms you get more constant power delivery. This is actually cheaper in the long run than 6 new Trojan batteries. Easy to install on my 2021 club car and the customer service was good for the few questions I had. It was rather simple, and I like having the ability to turn the battery off. So far with 100 miles on the new battery I’m very impressed with the range and performance. My 10 mile ride uses about 20% of the capacity. So no more having to charge every day. The screen is cool to keep an eye on the discharge rate, amps, tte etc. I scanned the code for the app and it worked fine, no issues. I really don’t use the app much as it’s easier to just turn on the LCD screen. Screen times out after a minute or two in standby mode. Overall it’s still early, but I’m very happy with it.
