Love this stuff. Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods works great in the barbershop for getting hair off the neck and skin, and the scent is excellent—clients always compliment it. Definitely gives that classic, upscale barbershop vibe. Only downside (like most powders) is that it gets everywhere if you’re not careful. I love the original Clubman scent, but wanted to give this a try. The Clubman product is quality as always, hence the 5 star rating, but the scent doesn't work for me. I really dislike it. I don't like to critique a scent; what I hate, you may love and vice-versa, so I can't base my rating on that. The talc/powder is just as it should be, like the original Clubman. It is a 'woodsy'(?) type aroma I suppose- as opposed to a citrus, or 'fresh' (certainly not fresh), or 'sea' type scent. All I can say about the scent, imho, is that it reminds me of an old uncle you never really cared for 'cause he always smelled funny. For me, I guess the product name sums it up; it reminds me of that old uncle who drank too much whiskey and passed out in the warm, damp woods. Overnight. And gave you a hug before he showered the next day. But, you may love the scent. Bottom line, it's a good talc that feels great - with a scent you will love, or not. Read more

I went to order my husband's tried and true Clubman after shave that he has used for years. I saw this variation, by the same company, and it got good reviews. I ordered the after shave and the powder. It smells SO good! It's a very MANLY scent, and it lasts. It smells like an expensive fragrance. I can smell him down the hall after he has showered.
