Installation: This was super easy to install. Once the light box is up, you simply screw in the bead extensions. Then, clip all the little ties at the end. The result is stunning. It does not come with light bulbs, but buy some extra for later too like I did. Style: I wanted to upgrade my office and put in a bit more glam. I went from a standard overhead light to this. When pairing it with the medallion, it brought about the most exquisite mix of historical meets modern and upped my glam factor ten fold. Brightness: I was also worried about the amount of light it gives off given this is my office. The 6-light version is bright and lights up the room even when it's dark outside. The media could not be loaded. So firstly, I love the light. It’s cute but I wish that the flush mount part didn’t look so cheaply gold. AND it takes special halogen bulbs that are hard to find. However, it’s so beautiful in my little girls bathroom. It’s very girl and is the perfect size. I will say, when the lights are on, it takes away from the cheap gold look from the flush mount part. I had to replace a 40s vintage chandelier which hung too low in the bathroom for something more flush. This light really caught my eye, but it wasn't in black to match. So, I had the idea to spray paint it the brushed black metal, but I didn't want it to get in the holes where the strands screw in, so I utilized Q-tips to block those holes and blue paints to cover the light bulb outlets. Then about 15 minutes later I had my result and LOVE IT!!! Honestly, the pictures do not do it justice. The little crystals are full of little color prisms as the LED lights reflect off of them. I wish I had better pictures, but please know this item is worth it. Although, you have to go and actually get the light bulbs separate. The run about 9 bucks each at Lowe's. The light is spectacular and all the tall people in my home are no longer complaining about hitting the hanging chandelier. This in my bathroom and I am contemplating putting one in every room.
