COACH Mens 38mm Harness Belt in Vegetable-tanned Leather

There is a serious flaw in this belt's product listing. When you buy this listing, you'll receive a Coach belt with style number CE240. Visiting Coach's official site with that model number, you'll find that this belt comes in ten different sizes from 30 to 38. It is NOT reversable or a one-size cut to fit belt, but Amazon thinks that it is and only has it available in size 30. This is not the belt's fault, so I'm not doing to ding it for that - but please please PLEASE, until this listing is redone with sizes don't buy it unless you can wear a size 30 BELT. Belt sizes are generally a step above pant size for men, which means that if your pant size is above a 28 this will be uncomfortable for you. That makes this belt acceptable for teenagers, kids and like 3% of fully adult men in the United States. The belt's quality is typical of Coach. It's made of vegetable tanned leather, and can last for your entire life with proper care. It's incredibly well made, but there's a fatal flaw in the design - the strap that keeps the overlap of the belt from flapping in the wind is locked into place by some fairly elaborate stitching and leather strips. And it's locked a about a half inch too far to hold the end of the belt when it's on the last hole. I know that you're not supposed to wear a belt on the last hole, but come on, it's a size 30 belt - even if you get it for your teen, it's going to be on the last hole in a year or two. This is an excellent belt, its made very well and looks fantastic. The buckle is not overstated but looks really good and the quality of the leather is top notch. The contrasting stitching looks fantastic as well. This belt is a size 30 even though it says to cut to size, so you gotta be pretty slim to wear it. Keep that in mind before purchasing. This is a wonderful belt. The only problem I have is a major one - The one size designation in the advertisement is not accurate. I wear a size 34 and I felt that this felt could be trimmed down to my size. However The belt that I received is a size 30. So, if you're a size 30 fantastic. Unfortunately I am going to return the belt. It's really a five star belt but I'm rating it as two stars because of the issue with sizing. Is this a very nice Coach belt? Yes, it is. That being said, the description is extremely confusing. If you’re looking at it quickly, you might think it is a size 38 belt. It is actually listed as 38 mm wide (like a watch). There is actually nothing saying what size it is. And the description it says most Coach belts are reversible. This is not one of them. Despite all these issues, it is still a very nice leather belt. Although it will not be fitting anyone in our family at this point. Beautiful hardware and beautiful stitching. It appears to be a genuine Coach product. Typically runs at $195 on the Coach website, but is now on sale for $97.50 just like on Amazon. So, if you’re looking for this belt of particular size, I would not suggest purchasing it here. Read more

Beautiful, well made and designed belt. The quality shows in the details, the stitching, in the quality of the leather. The one fairly major issue is the length. Described as "one size" and with one of the pictures noting "Cut-to-size", one would expect that the belt would have a greater length to it rather the the "Size 30" which arrived. And that size 30, is the absolute maximum. 31" waist? Forget it! Guess I'll be starting, and sticking to the self promised diet if I expect to be able to wear this anytime soon. Read more

I really, really wanted to love this belt but I'm sad to say the description is very misleading and as such, it does not fit. Not even close. The description says "One size" and then in the detailed description it says "Size 38W" which should be more than fine since that's one size up from my pants' size. However, the belt I received was a 30W. That is definitely not "one size fits all" unless you are a teenage boy LOL Really bummed about this because the belt is otherwise GORGEOUS - very nice leather and sturdy. But I'll have to likely end up giving it to my 22 year old skinny and tall son, because there's no way this will fit anyone else, I'm afraid. The description really needs to be updated or something needs to be changed in the listing because this is a frustrating problem :( Read more

This Coach harness belt is a great addition to any wardrobe. The vegetable-tanned leather looks and feels premium. I use this every day and it holds up well. The only downside is the price, but it's worth it for the quality. Highly recommend! Read more
