Coach Wide Harness Signature Reversible Belt

Well, it's a Coach product. So, it's a nice quality belt. The gun metal buckle has a nice finish and will go with just about any clothing. I like that the finish on the black and mahogany sides of the leather are different. It really gives the appearance of two different belts. The ad says one size. However, the belt is stamped with 42". So this is not for you if your belt size is greater than 42". The process of adjusting the belt is not included with the package. It's not clear how to remove the belt from the buckle. I had to YT a video on how to release. You need to rotate the buckle 90 deg. Look for a small slot and insert a flathead screwdriver (or similar) and lift. This will release the clamp on the belt. Then measure and cut. Would recommend to use either a box cutter blade or really sharp sissors. Read more

Quality soft leather but the buckle is annoying. It tends to pinch your belly fat in the front if you bend down or squat and it hurts. I still wear it daily as I don't do the motions often but you can definitely feel the buckle. I haven't investigated whether I can change the buckle or not yet but I plan to. Other than that it is a belt made of the leather material I wanted and is a quality belt. Read more

This is a very nice looking belt. I really appreciate that it's not too over the top. If you know what I mean. It's just a solid belt that looks really nice without drawing attention to itself. This belt was easy to cut to my size and feels very sturdy when I'm wearing it. I haven't worn it enough to really comment on its longevity, but I will say it feels sturdy and of the quality of some of my other belts that have lasted for years So I have high hopes for this one as well. I know there are cheaper belts, but a good belt that will last does cost a little more and ultimately represents a better value. Not mention looks more stylish than the belts that are delaminating and coming apart at the seems. This belt looks like a solid value and I would choose it again in a heartbeat. This review is for the Coach Wide Reversible Belt. I have several Coach belts going back to the last century. Alas they no longer fit. And they are skinny belts that are too thin for jeans. I was expecting quality, yet I was pleasantly pleased with the new Coach belt. The belt has two sides, one black with pebble leather, one brown with smooth leather. My preference is the smooth brown side. But you get to choose. The leathers are quite soft and supple. In my life I've never heard of cutting a leather belt to size! A lifetime ago I worked as a department store salesperson for high-end handbags. Manufacturers would often come in to explain their products in depth and I knew then that few mass leathermakers could compete with Coach. Decades later, it's still the same. Coach not is long-lasting but the leather often becomes better with age with very little care. I ordered this for my teenage son and it should be the only belt he'll ever need. The pebble leather is particularly durable and will hold up nicely over the years. I'd never seen a OSFA belt that you cut to measure. That was different and unexpected, but it wasn't difficult. The Coach Wide Reversible Belt (One Size, Black/Mahogany) is every bit as nice as the full grain leather L*vi’s brand belt I bought at C*stco for a quarter of the price asked for this one. Admittedly, my old belt is not double sided. Please don’t misunderstand, they are both good looking and functional belts, assuming the reversible Coach buckle lasts for years. Some reviewers on the Coach site did not see that length of service before the pin allowing the buckle to rotate failed. The Coach belt does not come with any instructions on how to cut it to the length you want. The Coach web site has a brief video showing what to do. It’s not hard to open the clamp at the buckle, cut the leather, reinsert and close the clamp. I recommend sharp scissors. Still, it would have been nice to include printed instructions, which could fit a 3 by 5 card. NB – DO NOT buy this belt if your waist is bigger than 40 in. That’s the max it’s made for. It would have been nice if the ad included that info. I’m happy I can wear it. Coach makes fine leather goods and gets a lot of well-deserved praise for the quality and durability of their products. This leather is so supple. It's attractive, durable and easy to wipe clean. I never thought a thick leather belt could be so comfortable. Great fit. Read more
