Great lamp! Note: the color is not what is shown in most of these pictures in the advertisements for it. It is a light see-thru blue with a bit of a crackle in it. The shade you put together yourself. The fabric piece is wrapped around the styrofoam that the lamp base is protected by. Be sure not to cut it thinking it is part of the wrapping to protect the lamp. It comes with two hoops that you clip and Velcro the shade strip to I. Order to form the drum shape of the shade. It has a wonderful touch feature to turn off and on the lamp and to brighten it twice more beyond the brightness that comes on at first. It has USB ports at the base which is a nice feature. The rope style on the base is a nice coastal/ nautical look. The lamp is just the right height in the table next to my chair. I definitely give this lamp a thumbs up! Read more
