Great lamp! Note: the color is not what is shown in most of these pictures in the advertisements for it. It is a light see-thru blue with a bit of a crackle in it. The shade you put together yourself. The fabric piece is wrapped around the styrofoam that the lamp base is protected by. Be sure not to cut it thinking it is part of the wrapping to protect the lamp. It comes with two hoops that you clip and Velcro the shade strip to I. Order to form the drum shape of the shade. It has a wonderful touch feature to turn off and on the lamp and to brighten it twice more beyond the brightness that comes on at first. It has USB ports at the base which is a nice feature. Exceptional value. Lamps are well made and look great. The blue glass is perfect, bright and lively. Shade assembly was an interesting design but they go together easy and are sturdy. We were looking for a not too expensice coastal style lampset for the bedroom and found this set which was perfect for us. The assembly was quick and easy and the lamp looks amazing. The one nitpick might be the quality of the lamp shade. It came flat packed and it has a thin velcro strip to connect that is a bit flimsy but still worked. A great feature is the 3 way lamp that allows for various settings of room light and ambiance. The light temp is warm and fits our style. The highest setting is not so bright that it's blinding. We found the usb chargers very convenient for our phones and tablets. If you are looking for a decent value for the money and a stylish lamp, consider this one! Read more
