Doesnt detect
The RAD 480i radar detector does not work for CHP! Ive had it set up for 4 months now not a single beep as I pass CHP and only thing it detects is constructions signs. This is only for the 480i, i dont know how the other Cobra versions are. I ultimately bought this because I wanted a combo of radar and dash cam for my truck. I have another radar detector from Uniden in my car and it works perfectly. Wish i didnt waste my money on this product. Read more

Get the right settings set up
As long as you get the right settings put on asap with the sensitivity put all the way down ( trust me it scammed a cop over a mile away still) and have auto mute on so it doesn’t make noise unless it thinks there’s actually cops. Then it’s a dream saved me 3 times and I just got it! Read more

paid for the radar detector and dash cam and i only got the dash cam. other than that the dash cam is pretty good. Read more
Crap
Ive purchased this radar detector prime day sell. I have not been able to get it to work. It’s telling me I need to hook to a computer how much more difficult does something need to be. I’ve had many of cobra never had to do that. Read more
Does not work, save your money
Doesn't detect anything. Passed multiple officers and not a beep. Sees a firetruck and there it goes crazy. Nothing more than an expensive toy. Read more
