Are you still love this and have used it for years but in the last year either my face has changed or they've changed their formula because now my skin breaks out in hives almost every single time I use it. The hives usually go away within an hour. They're not super itchy but it does burn. I put up with it. Hoping that it was just my hormones or something weird like that. I use spray tan instead of make up. I decided to try this due to reviews stating it didn't smell like other products. It was true. But you have to use it on a clean face. But it did give moisture for my face. Id recommend this product. It does ask you to spray several layers at once. But the tan did stay ans didn't Crack, just faded. Nice bronze color. Read more

I was really excited to try this facial self tanner. I watched so many good reviews on YouTube and the reviews here were mostly positive. I really wanted to love this product. My Thoughts : SMELL: When I first sprayed this on, it smelled coconut-like which made me happy. I love coconut. After a minute or two the coconut fragrance gave way to a sickening sweet vanilla cake batter fragrance that was quite overpowering for a facial product. I am a professional perfumer and have formulated fragrances for facial products, so I am by no means anti-fragrance. But this was a bit much. It dried down to a butyric, greasy butter cream smell that I just couldn't get away from because it was all over my face. So if you are sensitive to those type of fragrances, be forewarned. They should have stuck with just the coconut & not ventured into the cake batter domain. EASE OF APPLICATION: I was really excited for this micro-mist and thought it would make for a flawless application. In my mind I thought it would be a pressurized micro-mist that gives an airbrush type of application. Not really. It's just a regular spray bottle that you have to continously pump with your finger. This wasn't really a deal breaker for me, but because you are pumping, more product comes out at the beginning of the downstroke on the atomizer, and less comes out at the end. So following the directions to just spray it on your face and walk away doesn't really work. I ended up being patchy with dark areas in some spots and then light areas in others. I also tried blending it with my fingers & even applying a lightweight lotion over top in the hopes of helping it to blend but I still ended up being splotchy. COLOR: The developed color on this was way too orange for my taste. I was hoping for a natural sun-kissed bronze, but I ended up with patchy orange areas no matter what I tried. This might work better on someone with a deeper skin tone or on someone who already has a tan & just wants to deepen the color on their face...but I doesn't work for my fair skin with golden undertones. FINAL THOUGHTS: I've used worse sunless tanners for the face, but I've also used better. Especially for the price. I could have overlooked the scent if the resulting tan was more even & natural looking, but sadly this is a no-go for me. Back to the search! Read more
