Wow! What a great product, I burned 2 holes in my couch and instructions were very easy to follow, it match perfectly. I highly recommend this product if you think you can not do it, like I did. It really is easy and my results were amazing. They have great customer support too. I have a teal couch and I thought it would be difficult, but I just used yellow and blue and wow a great match. I had a small burn hole in microfiber couch. I was devastated and ordered this kit. I obsessed over this hole while waiting for the kit to arrive. I studied other people’s reviews and pictures and read about the excellent customer service this company has so I contacted them and sent them an email asking for advice on the repair. They answered my email within a day and gave their opinion. They started with advice on how to mix the color starting with gray and then adding brown. They advised cutting material larger than the hole and tucking it inside and under the edges of the hole. Because the hole was not burned into the cushion, I returned an email stating I thought that would cause more damage as the fabric was not pulling away from the cushion. They then advised inserting a tiny bit of cotton. Once I received the kit, I easily mixed the colors and practiced working with the flocking fibers on paper. I glued cotton to paper and tried the flocking on that. The color didn’t stick perfectly on the cotton then. I then tried the glue and flocking fibers on the paper. I wanted to see if I needed the cotton and wanted to see how hard the fibers and glue would dry. I felt that the fibers and glue alone would dry too hard and felt the hole needed to be filled with cotton. I used very little glue and inserted the cotton trying to stay just inside the hole (Picture above). I showed my friend who thought the cotton needed to be pushed in some to allow for the fibers. I let that patch sit overnight and carefully scraped a little cotton out making sure no cotton went over the edges. I then practiced tapping the fibers onto the cotton to check the color match and added a bit more brown a couple times. I then put a little glue on paper and used the tweezers to insert a tiny bit of glue in the hole and shook the fibers onto the hole. Gently, I patted the fibers onto the hole with the spatula and even dabbed the spot with my fingers until it looked good. I left the area to dry and within a couple hours (as my house is dry, winter, wood stove) I gently started brushing the fibers off knowing that it may not be completely dry. The patch looked good but it did appear that it needed to be filled in a touch more. I again repeated the process spreading a tiny bit of glue again and patting it with the spatula and lightly dabbing with my finger. I just did this repair today and will let it fully dry overnight and check the adherence of the fibers and see that a good patch tomorrow. I was very nervous about this repair. I recommend working slowly and thinking things through first. Carefully match the fibers in natural daylight. I found matching the color very easy. Go easy on the glue, you can alway repeat the process. The fibers did not darken with the glue for me as one person who did a review stated. The product was very easy to work with. I do not believe that patch will be hard or be felt. Some of the color containers arrived loose, be aware. Customer service was very helpful and gave me confidence as did my friend’s advice. I was happy with the price and would consider buying their other products. Read more

We had a hole our dog chewed in the carpet about the size of a silver dollar. We knew going in with this kit, it wasn't going to be perfect. I dig get a great color match and the hole is not very noticeable unless you knew it was there already. The glue does dry hard, it doesn't look like carpet up close and I fear that it will stain as there is foot traffic in the area. The kit worked as described and I am satisfied with the results, however this is a temporary fix. I will need to have the carpet patched in this area. Read more

Major learning curve involved. Worked well for couch damage on beige microsuede couch. Color matching is tricky but it impressive when you get it right. A little goes a long way Read more

A very complete repair kit that does the job. Comes with clear instructions and everything you need to fix a car seat upholstery. My wife's 2022 Malibu had a 1/4" diam burn hole and after applying the fabric back filling it hid the hole very well. The seats were not deep black so I added a tint of blue with the black fibers to lighten it up a little. Came out very nice. No one except you will ever know it was there. I did not need their on-call technician but they are there to help. Read more

I was really skeptical about this because of all the different kinds of reviews but I had a cigarette burn in my couch and it was driving me crazy so I figured why not. It’s worth a try I can always return it. I was blown away by this product I can’t believe how well it worked! I usually don’t leave reviews so I didn’t even think about taking a before picture! I had a half inch cigarette burn mark on my taupe ultra suede couch, and it was right on the edge and had to flip the Cushion over, but just knowing that burn mark was there it was driving me crazy and I wanted it fixed. The product was easy to use and color was easy to match. They give instructions on mixing colors and the taupe color is a hard color to match but they gave me the three colors to mix until I got the exact match. Unbelievable. The first time I did it, I could still kind of see where I had fixed it so I repeated the process as far as the glue, and the fiber on top of what I already did. By morning, I wanted to see how it worked out and I had a hard time finding the spot that I fixed. I decided that I should take a picture of it and put this in a review because I was just so impressed! I took the picture and looked at it, and I could really see where I fixed it it in the picture and I’m not sure why this is, but you can’t in even see there was anything that was Fixed in the actual cushion without getting within an inch or two eyesight, and really really looking for it… And I knew where it was supposedly, because I fixed it! Ultra suede has a lot of different variations of colors, it’s actually like a suede leather, so if anything, it just looks like a mark in the leather It looks completely natural and really Not Noticeable at all! The color that I mixed didn’t get darker or lighter as it dried as some of the reviews had said so I was concerned about mixing it one way or the other I decided to just match it exactly and that’s what you should do. After two days I took a toothbrush and lightly brushed the fabric in circular motions and it stayed I was shocked. Funny thing is is now I’m noticing the natural blemishes in the fabric. There are either darker or lighter spots in some places, and I do not even notice where I fixed this awful burn hole. I am so glad I found this product and It comes with so many other colors and a whole tube of glue and a lot of cloth to put underneath it, so I am definitely prepared for any other mishaps. I don’t know how it works for tears or anything else but I’ll tell you if you have a burn hole in Ultrasuede this is Your Hail Mary! I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed! (I really wish I would have thought about taking a before picture but I rarely leave reviews so it never crossed my mind.) I suggest you do take a before and after picture in case you do decide to leave a review, it will sure help other people in their decision on purchasing this or not. Read more
