This water bottle is definitely on the pricier side, but once it arrived, I totally understood why. The quality is amazing, the colors are beautiful, and the little character carrying case is super cute and well made. It even looks and feels like high-end leather. Ours came missing the tiny piercing detail in the hat (which, of course, was my favorite part), but it’s not a big deal. I think I can add that myself easily. One heads-up: check the QR code inside the bottle for instructions before opening it. The latch has a unique mechanism, and we almost thought it was broken at first because we were trying to force it. Just a little learning curve. Your kid might need a quick tutorial too. It’s hand wash only if you want it to stay looking great. I’m sure it could survive the dishwasher, but I wouldn’t risk it. Overall, it feels really special and fun for back-to-school. I love that my kiddo can carry it by the strap instead of juggling it in her hands, which usually ends in lost-and-found territory. I got this water bottle to use as a gift for a young granddaughter and I think, having now seen the bottle in person, that it will make a good gift. I might hesitate buying a $45 water bottle for a young girl (and this $45 water bottle is probably only useful with a younger child). But I got it for free through the Amazon Vine program which seeds new products to reviewers in return for their review, so I decided to take a chance on it. I found this to be a cute water bottle, made cuter by the anthropomorphizing jacket intended to make the bottle look like a string-legged-and-armed little person. I'm not sure of the utility of the jacket. Perhaps it helps keep sweat from occurring, or perhaps it keeps the bottle further insulated. But even if it has no utility at all, it's cute. And the water bottle is a well-made water bottle. Read more
