The media could not be loaded. I had been contemplating a masticating juicer for awhile. I did my homework and saw this Fretta juicer had a 25 dollar off coupon so I decided to try it. Boy am I glad I did! Easy to assemble after washing, I then peeled and put 5 medium gala apples, 2 large carrots, 2 single stalks of celery and one beet in the hopper and the juicer produced ALL of this juice in minutes! Sweet and delicious! As you can see, the top is large enough where you could prob put an entire pineapple into it, about as wide and a blender. HOWEVER, the lid must be down and locked before the machine will work. I just chopped the big carrots into thirds, and that machine CRUNCHED them up like nothing. The pulp is dry, I am planning on using the variety of juice pulps for baking, soups, and drying and grinding for spice flavors. I will also feed it to my chickens and bunnies as a treat. You can also mulch them, but I choose to use food to eat. I may even press them into silicone molds, mix with an egg and bake little treats for the pups. If you do this, make sure whatever you use to make the treats is pup safe. Not hard to clean, but even with that little inconvenience, it’s worth it for the quality of the juice. I can’t wait to let the grandkids to make their own juice!! All in all, this Fretta juice masticator is well worth the money, even at full price. I've been using this juicer every day for about two months. I only use it in the morning for breakfast, and I haven't had any issues at all, not even with carrots, beets, and coconuts. It's really easy to use, easy to clean, it is not as loud as I thought, and it really squeezes the very last drop out of the veggies and fruits. The only two things I would change are having a bit bigger jar for the solids and a different shape for the brush, one that helps you get to those tight corners. Read more
