I bought this slow juicer because I love fresh squeezed orange juice, and I expected something simple and straightforward. This machine is definitely more advanced than a standard citrus juicer, it’s built to extract every drop of liquid from whatever you put into it, and it does exactly that. Assembly was easy. The instructions were clear, and all the parts fit together with a solid, heavy duty feel. The safety lock works well and won’t let the machine run unless everything is aligned correctly. Once it’s locked in, the base suctions firmly to the counter. It didn’t walk, rock, or shift during use. For my first test, I followed the instructions and cut the oranges into the recommended size to avoid clogging or overloading. The oranges were sweet and juicy on their own, but once they went through the juicer, the flavor changed. It pulled out everything, every bit of juice, every trace of flavor, and probably every vitamin and mineral too, but the result wasn’t a taste I enjoyed, you could taste the rind. The juice was completely smooth with zero pulp, which surprised me because I prefer a little texture. I tried again by removing the rind and the loose skin around the segments, and that improved the flavor, but it still wasn’t the classic fresh squeezed heavy with pulp, I like. For oranges, this machine is simply not my favorite. Where it really " SHINES" is with vegetables and other fruits. Based on how thoroughly it works, I think it’s better suited for carrots, kale, spinach, broccoli, apples, and other tougher produce. It squeezes out every ounce of liquid and leaves the leftover pulp almost dry. That part genuinely impressed me. Cleaning takes some effort. Orange pulp gets everywhere, and wiping it out is nearly impossible. Thankfully, the included cleaning brush helps a lot, and running the parts under water loosens most of the residue. It’s not a quick rinse and go appliance, but the brush makes the process manageable. It should clean easier with other fruits and vegetables. The machine is loud, but no louder than any other juicer I’ve used. Given the power and the amount of extraction it does, the noise level feels normal. The build quality is excellent. The plastic parts are thick and sturdy, and the metal filters feel solid and well made. It’s a heavy, well constructed machine that feels like it will last. Overall, this is a powerful slow juicer that excels with vegetables and tougher produce. For oranges, the flavor and texture weren’t what I prefer, but if you’re looking for nutrient dense vegetable juices, this machine is a workhorse with strong construction and thoughtful safety features. I’ve been getting more into smoothies and juicing lately for health reasons, and this is actually my first juicer. Overall, I’m really impressed with it—especially compared to what I expected starting out. The 5.4-inch wide feed chute is easily my favorite feature. I’ve seen smaller machines before where you have to cut everything into tiny pieces, which takes forever. With this one, I can toss in much bigger chunks, and even whole fruits like apples sometimes. It saves a ton of prep time, which makes me way more likely to actually use it regularly. Since it’s a slow masticating juicer, it really focuses on extracting as much juice as possible. You can tell it’s doing a thorough job because the pulp comes out pretty dry (unless you’re juicing something super watery like cucumber). The juice itself is smooth, rich, and tastes really fresh—my first mix of apples, carrots, and mandarins came out so good. It does run slower than some other machines, but that’s kind of the trade-off. You get better extraction and quality juice, just not as fast. Personally, I’m okay with that. Assembly was pretty straightforward, but I will say you have to make sure everything is lined up correctly or it won’t start. I thought mine was broken at first, but it turned out I just didn’t have the container aligned with the safety switch. Once I fixed that, it worked perfectly. Noise-wise, it’s not silent, but it’s also not overly loud—definitely quieter than a blender. About what you’d expect from a juicer. Cleaning is probably the one downside. It’s not hard, just takes a little more effort than a super simple rinse-and-go design. Not a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind. I also like that it doesn’t take up a ton of space. Everything stacks nicely, so it works well even if you don’t have a huge kitchen. Pros: Large feed chute cuts down prep time a lot Great juice yield with dry pulp Smooth, flavorful juice Homemade health shots when sick or getting kids to eat or "drink" more veggies. Sleek, sturdy design Cons: Slower than some juicers (but more thorough) Cleaning takes a bit of effort Needs proper alignment to start Overall, I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it—especially if you’re just getting into juicing or want something efficient without spending a fortune. Overall I’m pretty impressed with this cold press juicer, especially compared to the juicer I owned previously. There are definitely some noticeable advantages that make it easier to use day-to-day. The 5.4-inch wide feed chute is easily my favorite feature. My previous juicer had a chute that was only about 2 inches wide, which meant I had to spend a lot of time cutting fruits and vegetables down to size before juicing. With this one, I can drop in much larger pieces — sometimes even whole fruits like apples — which saves a lot of prep time. Since it’s a slow masticating juicer, it does a great job extracting juice thoroughly. You can tell it really presses the produce and pulls out a lot of liquid, leaving the pulp fairly dry. The juice also comes out smooth and rich in flavor. The only trade-off compared to my previous machine is speed. Because the motor runs slower to maximize extraction, it takes a bit longer to process everything. My older juicer worked faster, but it didn’t extract quite as efficiently. So while one machine is faster and this one is more thorough, this juicer definitely holds its own. Considering the wide chute, good juice yield, and solid build quality, it’s a strong option for the price. Pros: • Large feed chute reduces prep time • Extracts juice efficiently with dry pulp • Good flavor and smooth consistency • Solid stainless steel base design • Quiet operation compared to many juicers Read more
