For 10 years, this show has been my daily "office shoe," as it's sufficiently dressy, comfortable, durable, economical... and did I mention comfortable? It comes in wide sizes, too, so you can dial it in... I usually by two pairs at a time, so there's no issue swapping-in a new pair when the shoe starts to show age. Also, in the event Cole Hahn stops making it, I want to have am extra pair on hand. They last me over a year before I change them out... they may last longer, but I want to wear shoes that look nice. I put a clear polish on 3-4 times per year... and, again, it's worn 5 days per week to an office, so that's quite a bit of wear - and speaks to the shoe's durability (and comfort). Read more
Hard to get on foot without spoon, but wears well. A very little tight. Good looking. Material is looking unstable, am worry about it to crumple... Read more
Cole Haan's have a great reputation for a reason and these shoes are a prime example of how wonderful they truly are. They fit well. You can wear them from day one and they will be comfortable to have on all day. They look great with all sorts of clothes. They can be worn as dressy or casual. A great pair of shoes for all occasions. Read more
This is the fourth pair of these loafers I've owned over the years. I think they are a good value. They fit true to old shoe sizing (seems like the last 20 years, American shoe makers sizes are a half size too big, or at least a half size bigger than they used to be. I've been an 8 1/2 for years and have to order size 8 in a lot of brands. In Cole Haan, 8 1/2 still works perfectly. These are definitely dressy enough for business casual. They are comfortable and durable. Read more
At first I thought the shoes would be uncomfortable, but after I tried them on, they were very comfortable. I feel very happy wearing them and their comfort when walking. Read more
Honestly, it makes you wonder what is happening to shoes. My suspicion is that you simply cannot market a good quality pair of leather shoes for less than $100. It takes too much compromise. But if you put on Amazon for the price required nobody buys. My opinion. These really are Payless quality, sorry to say. I purchased a pair of Rockport Men's Balabour Slip-Ons in 2014 from Amazon for around $60. I still have them around the house. They are soooo comfortable Very tight when I purchased but I tolerated and the fit is amazingly glove like. Such quality, still holding up and comfortable 6 1/2 years later. I find myself looking at the Cole Haans realizing they look ok in the casual office but not really comfortable for daily use. That is awful. These should be comfortable, soft around your feet. They feel like vinyl with a bumpy irregular feeling in the feet. I may try an insert but please tell me where the quality shoes are. I am tired of sending shoes back ( too late for these, I thought they might improve with wearing. Read more
These shoes are so good I bought these 1/2 size larger just to wear with heavy socks. I already have two pair in the same dark brown, two in black and one pair of the tan. They are so comfortable and the originals were fully leather lined. Now they are made in India and the sides along the forefoot are lined with a type of cloth. You can walk all day in them. They look good for just about any casual wear and of course they slip on and off with ease. When I bought my first pair I think the price at Cole Haan was about $150. As the years have gone by and Cole Haan is pretty much gone the price has dropped considerably. Read more
