This lantern worked like a charm! I just went camping and was not looking forward to the bugs but my husband so this and purchased it. He turned it on the first night while we started cooking out dinner and there were not bugs in site. We carried on and it was wasn’t until we were by the campfire that I noticed it was still on and still no bugs near us! It’s well worth the price. It doesn’t have a smell or color to it. Just light it and go about your day. It lasts a long time as well we camped for 2 nights. Friday-Sunday and I think we still have about half of it left to burn. Read more

I think it works well enough. You don’t smell it too much when it’s lit, but it doesn’t smell bad in my opinion. It’s not a large source of light, but is good for just hanging in the backyard. It’s a cute little thing though! Read more
