Colibri Quantum Triple Jet Lighter with Integrated Spring Loaded V-Cut Cigar Cutter for up to a Large 60

I was looking for a v cutter and seperately for a triple jet lighter. I came across this model colibri lighter. It appears the model may have changed names recently and it was a little hard to get in stock in the colour I wanted. So I settled on red. I was not disappointed. The cut is crisp and sharp. The cap wrapper stays intact. The V is a little narrow for my liking, I would prefer a little but more width to draw on the cigar. The lighter has a decent reservoir for lighter fluid. The adjustment is best left on low. Even at that setting the flame is very long. You have to hold the lighter a good 20cm from the cigar to toast it. The flame is very focused so is great for heating specific parts of the foot without singeing the wrapper. A great lighter. Read more

First one was purchased in 2019 and as soon as the warranty lapsed (2 year warranty), the lighter developed slow butane leak and no longer hold the fuel. Subsequently, purchased a second one in December of 2022 and now it does not click to ignite and one of the jet is not working. Contacted the Colibri service department for assistance and since they both are out of warranty, they cannot assist with the repair. They told me the repair cost will exceed the cost of the product and told me to get a new one. $200 cigar lighter should last more than a few years. Will not purchase this product again. Read more

Not impressed for the money… made this purchase back in Sept of 2024 and use it primarily on the weekends to clip and light my cigars. The pop out cutter tends to deploy if you set the lighter down on a hard surface short of setting down lightly and even in my pocket I find it opening so not really happy about that and over the past month of use it has become difficult to light, I have to pull down on the igniter thumb tab repeatedly and one jet, then two then all will finally light up. I’ve been purchasing 4 jet lighters with an integrated punch for years and never spend more than $40.00 on any of my previous lighters and have had far less issues. This product is trash, the lighter does not work! I am using Colibri brand butane, I have also tried other brands but have the same results. The lighter will finally light after maybe 2 minutes of hitting the ignite button. Read more

The lighters break after a couple of months. Don’t waste your money like I did. I bought a bunch of them, probably around 10 and they all broke after a few months. The trigger to light the lighter stopped working. Kinda important part of the lighter. Read more
