So I have tried a few other powdered collagen supplements and have had a difficult time mixing most of them. They either don't mix well, taste horrible or just underwhelm in general. This one seemed to be a great mix of ingredients so I ordered hoping it would be better than the others I have tried. It's pricy so I was hoping that would equal better product. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. The tub/jar is larger than in the listing, like twice the size which surprised me. It smells better than other collagens I have tried which made me hopeful that it would be easier to get down. I tried mixing it with hot cocoa which is my go to liquid for any powder supplement but that was a big fail. It just didn't mix well with it at all. It ended up all separated which was really odd (and hard to describe) and just didn't mix well. I even tried using my electric milk frother to mix it well and it would mix initially but would end up separating if I let it sit for a couple minutes. I couldn't drink it. I decided to try again with some cranberry juice and that worked much better. It mixed well and I was able to get it down without much issue. The tart cranberry helped mask any flavor it may have which is a plus for me. I'm thinking that the powdered collagen may just not be for me and I will have to hunt for a pill/capsule form which will probably work better for me. This one is full of fantastic ingredients and tastes and smells much better than any other I have tried so if you can handle the powder mixing thing then this is a great option and I recommend giving it a try. 4 stars from me, would have been 5 if it had mixed well with my hot cocoa. I love this product! I love the way it dissolves so easily. I mix it in 8oz of water and there's absolutely no taste, super easy to drink. I've tried other peptide/collagen powders and this one is far better than any I have had. I love that this one has the best Amino Acids and all the other great supplements all in one container. I tried very hard to take this consistently, but the way it does not mix and the taste was just not good. I tried using a milk frother to mix this in liquid, but that didn't even get it to mix and left a lot of powdery clumps. I also have to take a large scoop of this and combine those things I mentioned before and this is just very unpleasant to take. Since it was so displeasing I could not say the benefits were good or bad. I think if it was flavored it would have been a little more tolerable. Read more
