I’ve been using this collagen supplement daily for about 7 weeks, usually with breakfast. I’ve used other collagen capsules before, but most only had one or two sources (usually bovine only). What stood out with this product is its multi-source peptide blend from bovine, marine cod, chicken, eggshell membrane, and avian sternum — it felt like a broader spectrum than the single-source formulas I was used to. Each serving has 1,800 mg of hydrolyzed collagen peptides, and I think I noticed improvement around week 4. These types of supplements require typically takes consistent intake. My skin elasticity felt noticeably improved: after the first five weeks, fine lines along my jaw and under-eye area seemed smoother, and my skin had a bit more bounce compared to before. I also have frequent wrist and hand pain which seemed to improve. The capsules are the standard size 0. They are not tiny, but not hard to swallow. I never had any nausea when taking them with food. They have no unpleasant odor or flavor. I kept my diet pretty consistent during this time to better gauge the product’s effect. You really do need to stick with taking them for several weeks to see changes; taking three capsules daily without consistent use didn’t deliver noticeable effects in the first couple of weeks. Overall, if you’re looking for a collagen option that aims at skin, joints, hair, and nails all at once, this blend seemed to perform better than simpler single-source supplements I’ve tried. This is a high quality product and I think it's worth the price Read more

I normally use powdered collagen in my frappes and coffee but when traveling it’s not always convenient to carry the large container. My solution was to carry some in a ziplock bag but then every time the TSA agents were doing a swab on my suspicious looking powder. So I got these for air travel. They definitely provide way less collagen peptides per serving compared to the powder (1.8g vs 20g) but all capsules are like that. Also the suggestion is to take 3 - 6 per day which means only 15 - 30 days supply. All reasons to use these as travel collagen. The capsules are slick and don’t stick to the tongue or mouth so are pretty easy to swallow. They have 5 sources of collagen peptides - bovine, chicken, marine, eggshells, and avian sternum. Two of them are hydrolyzed, meaning easier to absorb. Between them they should provide collagen types I, II, III, V, X, and IX. This in not listed on the bottle, I just did some research what types are found in each of the sources they list. What I don’t like is the magnesium stearate added as a binding agent. There are other capsules that don’t have it. I would not recommend taking these regularly as too much magnesium stearate can become toxic. I am not worried about it for occasional travel use, though. FIT BOXX is a brand based in Hong Kong but with a US distributor. The expiration date on the bottle I got is in 3 years. Read more

I started taking this collagen about three weeks before a Moxi laser treatment and continued through the week of healing, for a total of one month. I chose capsules because I can’t tolerate the taste of collagen powders, and these were easy to swallow with no aftertaste, fishy burps, or stomach upset, even when taken with just coffee and other supplements in the morning. What stood out to me is the wide range of collagen sources (bovine, marine, chicken, eggshell, etc.), which is not too common. The bottle also arrived with two safety seals, which gave me confidence in the packaging and freshness. The expiry date was over 2 years from when I received the bottle. I completed healing in about seven days instead of the typical ten it takes me. I can’t say with certainty that the collagen was the sole reason, since laser settings and individual healing vary, but I do think it likely supported recovery. I didn’t notice changes in nails or hair yet, which is expected since collagen only affects new growth over time, not existing strands. I also appreciate that the capsules are truly neutral in smell and taste, something many people including myself worry about with marine collagen. One thing I would like to see improved is transparency on the peptide breakdown. The label lists a proprietary blend (protein complex), but individual amounts of each collagen source aren’t specified, so it’s hard to know how much of each type you’re actually getting. The dosing instructions were also a bit confusing, as the bottle references 1–2 servings a day while defining a serving as three capsules. Six capsules daily seemed excessive, so I followed the recommendation of three capsules. This feels like a robust, easy to take option for collagen, and I plan to continue using it long term since collagen benefits are cumulative and typically take months to show in skin, hair, and nail quality.
