Clean simple spring/summer smell
I vile can last about a week so its long enough to decide if you like it. The smell is much as people describe, going on as a clean, soapy smell, developing into a flowering, lavender smell that lasts fairly long. Its a little too old fashion for me though the clean neutral smell is a pretty good default smell for the warmer months I think. I wouldn't wear this to impress, just to bump things up a notch I guess. Read more

The little .05 oz is just like the sample one might get at the perfume counter except this one has a little built-in spray nozzle on top. The scent is a classic --think masculine, spiced Chanel No. 5 for men. A little old school, if your old school was Cambridge circa 1920. A Colonial Classic, sophisticated and alluring --on the right man. It fits handily into a tuxedo pocket. Read more

Not what I expected
I love to get little samples of fragrances I'm not familiar with but am curious about. I didn't care much for this, but then that's just a personal thing. I'm sure some people would love it. Glad I didn't buy a full-sized bottle and spend all that money on something I didn't care for. I'll try it again in a different season of the year. I might like it better in the fall or the winter.
