I ordered this colorful $16.99 "Zhuozatrfa" brand necklace (Amazon ASIN B0GL96Z3GW) to use for everyday wear and after trying it out for a while I'm happy with it. I measured mine at about 19 inches long and it weighed about 55 grams on my kitchen scale (roughly 2 ounces) so it's lighter than it looks. That makes it easy to wear all day without feeling heavy or pulling at my neck. The beads are acrylic, not stone, but they display well and have a nice look to them. Oh wait. Did I say acrylic? What about resin? The Amazon listing mixes the terms resin and acrylic, which makes it confusing. The short version is that acrylic is a type of resin, but not all resins are acrylic. Acrylic is a specific type of plastic while resin is a broader category of materials. So let's just agree it's an acrylic resin. No matter what it's made out of, the colors are bright without being too loud and the overall style works well when I'm just out and about running errands or heading to work. There's no pendant, so it's a simple, clean necklace that goes with a lot of outfits as you can see from my attached photos. The lobster clasp works fine and the length sits comfortably, not too tight like a choker might be but also not long enough to hang low and get in the way. I like big chunky necklaces and I have several long ones. I saw this choker and decided to try a shorter style for a more casual look for summer. After ordering, I had a moment of remorse because the listing shows that it is colorful but I was worried it would look cheap like a children’s toy. Well I shouldn’t have worried, it looks great. I got style “color-1”. The colors are bright but not as candy colored as in the listing photos (which is a good thing). The necklace is a short choker that has about two inches of adjustability. The chain and clasp aren’t super high quality but they hold just fine and did not irritate my neck. The whole necklace is very comfortable and smooth to wear all day and it doesn’t weigh too much. It weighs enough to lay correctly. The colored beads feel like a dense plastic resin. They are smooth and haven’t scratched. The gold beads in between the colored beads set the larger beads apart and have just enough ‘bling’. I’ve worn this a few times with a shorts set and with a dress and now it’s in my regular rotation of fun necklaces. It’s a good deal for a well designed product and I like it a lot. Read more
