Looks are deceiving, Beauty is only skin deep. The Stag is very nice, problem with these Colt knives are the handles. You never know what size the Stag will be. Some are to round, to big, some to small. To much of a variance. No one likes being disappointed after waiting to receive their knife and having to send it back. They are produced overseas, (Pakistan) and it shows. The blade is thick (good). I have several Colt long blades and the problem with the Colt Skinners and long blades is there reliability. This a full tang knife, but the tang tongue is very small and over time will not hold up to field use. I really wish Colt would make them more of a sturdy, durable working knife, I like them a lot but I need a knife I can depend on for years to come. These are more for "wall hangers". Bill Read more
