Customers say

Customers praise the knife's top-of-the-line construction and its ability to hold an edge.

★★★★★

It is what it's supposed to be.

Andrew WillowApril 7, 2024

This knife has a specific purpose. It is very good, for that purpose. The construction, fit and finish, and overall handleability are close to perfect, for what it is. This is not a "camping" knife. It is not a "utility" knife. It is not a bush-crafting, nor hobby knife. Although it would work for those things. This is a concealable, defensive-fighting knife. It is very good for that, too. Almost negligible weight. Balance right behind the cross guard. Takes an edge, and holds the edge, well. The few "hot spots" aren't enough to cause the wielder injury, and do help in indexing. I usually don't like American tanto style tips, or serrations, on defense knives, but those features of this knife are very utile, and I find myself liking the narrow, acute-angled tip, and Veff serrations to be, actually, likable and effective. There are only a couple of things I would... not change, exactly... "enhance", or "improve". If anyone at CRKT wants my input, I am more than happy to offer it. I have been a fan of CRKT's products for several years. And, I will, certainly, be checking them out, every time I'm buying a new bladed tool. Read more

This is the one knife to own

Mike zamoraJuly 17, 2025

I have owned two of these knives, the greatest knife in the world... This comes from an ex-military viewpoint. The casing foreclosure and carryability and 10/10, perfect hand size for combat / tactical defense, ease of use and overall quality is top of the line. Read more

Fantastic knife. Okay sheath. I gave it to a friend that needed one before I could do a review on it, but will order another one promptly and post pictures and such. Read more

Great knife! slim and long knife packing a whole lot of blade for what it is.very lightweight and balanced your hands should fit well even with gloves, great Veff serrations that you come to love (I dislike serrations on blades usually but if I get some it has to always be Veff ones) for this knife I actually really like the serrations.I think we can all agree we have all wanted a fix blade M16 knife.well done! Great ‘pocket’ knife!

JMay 16, 2025

I really like this knife, it’s slim but solid. I attached an UltiClip on it for pocket carry and I barely notice it. At first, I was a little worried about the sheath retention, but it tightened up well when I put the ulticlip on it. Read more

thought it was perfect for my nephew who dives and spearfishes

eileen de guzmanJanuary 29, 2022

update: the knife was used once and it rusted. i spoke to a company rep and apparently their knifes are rust resistant, but not rust proof and i have to send it back to see if warranty will cover it. i understand if the knife was left submerged in sea water for a couple days, but that was not the case. this is an outdoor company and hunters and campers things get wet and damp. the knives should withstand elements. my nephew free dives and spearfishes, while cleaning up our beautiful puget sound. he forgot his knife and a man on the dock had this knife, and my nephew commented on how great it was. so i knew what to get him for Christmas! i don’t know if this is expensive or not, but all i know is it is the perfect size and it sharper than heck!
