Absolutely love this jacket. It’s warm without feeling bulky, super comfortable, and perfect for everyday wear in cooler weather. The fit is flattering and true to size, and the quality is exactly what you’d expect from Columbia. I really appreciate how lightweight it feels while still keeping me cozy. It looks great dressed up or casual, and I’ve gotten so much use out of it already. Zipper quality is awesome YKK… IYKYK!!! Definitely recommend if you want something stylish, practical, and well-made. It has 2 decent size pockets and one breast pocket, could have done better with the amount of pockets and depth, but functional overall. This coat is beautiful. It is heavier than I usually wear and is water resistant. The hood is huge and I have a head that is on the higher end of average (over 22 inches). The color is very vibrant and it both zips and buttons with huge pockets in the front and a zipper pocket on the breast which is plenty big enough for a phone. No pockets on the inside, which I wish it had since I will be traveling in the winter in Europe and that would keep my passport and money safer. This coat is not for temperatures above freezing in my opinion (but I live in a northern state and am used to the cold). It is also longer than the usual winter jacket, which is great. Great quality, as expected from the Columbia brand. It's surprisingly lightweight for a jacket that keeps me so warm. It has already proven itself to be more waterproof than any other winter jacket I've owned. It's also very comfortable and cozy. The only thing missing is chest pockets for my hands (there is one zipped chest pocket, which is nice for keys). Overall, I'm extremely happy with the jacket. Bought this for my mom. Who is 4'8" 105 lbs. The jacket is warm, well made, and looks nice, but the sleeves are way too long. The fit in the body is good, but the arm length is completely off and makes the jacket feel oversized. Good quality, but the sleeve sizing is disappointing. Read more

I wanted to like this coat and gave it a week of wearing in January, in Philadelphia. Temps were 10-37 degrees, windy, icy days. Ultimately, the cons outweigh the pros, so it's going back. Pros: 1. It's hard finding a warm, synthetic coat not made with duck/goose feathers. If you're vegan or otherwise ethical, Columbia makes quality affordable stuff. 2. This coat looks great on and the materials are good quality. My pet's fur did not stick to the material, so it would stay nice looking. Flattering fit without being too tight, even with a sweater underneath. 3. Warm and comfy to about 35 degrees, even with a cold wind. The material does a nice job protecting against wind, to a point. 4. I loved the color: I got the Marsala Red and it's true to the photo. A brick-red color. Cons: 1. Primarily: I froze my tush off once temps dipped below 35 degrees. I walk my dog several times a day and night, so this coat got lots of outside time. This coat did not keep me warm on those colder walks at all. 2. You need better gloves. There are no pockets to put your hands into. The square bucket pockets on the front are awkward and too tight to put anything in other than a phone or keys. Even my keyring felt too bulky in there. 3. The removable fur trim is ridiculous. It's too narrow to actually do anything and it lets cold air in between the buttons that hold it on. 4. The buttons don't actually hold the fur trim on. They pop out all the time. Take the fur trim off and the hood doesn't cover the front of your head. What's the point of a hood if it doesn't cover your whole head? 5. No room in the hood to wear a hat. The hood is tight and doesn't cover your head, so you need a hat. But it's too tight to wear both a hat and the hood. If you're considering this coat because it has a hood, don't bother. 6. There are no interior cuffs at the wrists. This makes it easy to slip gloves on, but does let cold air up your sleeve. Read more
