With a taper to the ankle but when I ordered my husband's size, what I got was a khaki fabric pant that fits like sweats. The waistband is very large and they look really sloppy. I've been buying him more stylish comfy pants for years that he won't wear and these are the ones he's chosen to wear. They're not cute. These are definitely function over style. I love these pants! The fit is true to size and the waist area is a bit stretchy helping to accommodate any small size variations one might find. My wife loves the way they look on me saying that I could easily put them in with my formal wear collection and no one would know the difference ( I did get the dark color) The only downside that kept me from giving them 5 stars is the care instructions. It's 2026 and no one's got time for special care vs other clothes and these require being hung out to dry. While some people would have no issue with this, I do. With modern materials available there is no reason any garment should have special care vs your daily wear. Now, I don't know why they have the hang dry instruction, it could be as simple as avoiding wrinkles, since you can iron them I can't imagine the dryer would damage them. If these were bought for daily wear, hanging to dry would be a deal breaker for me, but use as formal wear on rare occasions, I suppose it's ok. Solid 4 stars from me. Read more
