There are the knuckles built in under that mat that make the massage work. If these knuckle points are softer, it would be nicer for sleep on. However, it is comfortable enough. I just received it. It is well constructed, and quite comfortable. The heat works well and there are many setting. I would like the vibration to be a bit stronger, and the placement of the massage nodes at the neck really don’t get near it. All in all, it is a well made, good quality, very functional product. There is nothing I don’t like about this product, it’s heated, neck massage back and forth around your neck, and if you position your shoulder the rollers will do it job amazingly and the neck massage is heated or not depending on your choice. For the mat it’s heated also, it’s vibrating a few different ways. If you need something to help you relax and it doesn’t cost a lot this product is perfect. Overall, everything is what I need for the low price. It’s affordable and help me relaxing. It’s light, easy to put away simply roll it and there is a belt to hold it in place, it’s can fit someone 6 feet high, the neck roller is gentle but work just right. For the price it’s just right. I returned the 1st one after it started making squealing noises. The pillow, which is the only part that massages, broke after a week. Got a replacement, pillow screwed up straight out of the box. I would NOT buy this vibrating mat with a bad massage pillow. Read more

Nicely made, good quality but less than impressive performance. The Shiatsu is very good but it's only on the pillow. The other 10 "zones" just mildly vibrate with little effect. The heat is just mildly warm. Read more
